When SOG Knives devised the SOGzilla line that includes several sizes and blade shapes, they wanted to make the Zilla distinctive. Zilla is fast, you wouldn’t want to try and outrun him! The grip of this SOG knife is a dual directional prehistoric armor plate and the big-bodied, black-coated blade features a new opening shape... the likes of which has never been seen before. In hand, the SOGzilla knife points instinctually and feels familiar. Steel liners make a stout construction. Keep your SOG knife caged in your pocket with the patented low carry reversible clip. SOGzilla... It’s a new species. Don’t be caught alone!

It might have a little bit of a weird look to it, but try it out and you'll find yourself addicted.I was a little turned off by this knife at first by the odd placement of the clip, but having owned a dozen or so knives over the years that go with me everywhere; I was quickly won over. It comes right out of the package sharp enough to shave with and holds its sharpness a good long time. On top of all that it doesn't have the annoying serration on the bottom half - some people like serrations, I don't.Top it all off with a easy to grab thumb-hole, and you got 'yerself a knife.

workhorse of a knifeBought this as a backup for my Kershaw and eventually found myself using this knife more and more. It is the toughest and beefiest folder I have owned. The blade will hold up to just about anything, and I do mean anything. I have used it for everything from shaving off a shim for a door frame, cutting wire, using it to punch through sheet metal to breaking up kindling. The blade keeps an edge and comes back for more. One tough knife for the money.

The best deal around on knivesAt first, I wasn't thrilled by this knife after looking at it online. I was much more inclined to get the spring-assist Kershaw RAM or the SOG Flash I, but the first of those was much to pricey and the other was puny. This was the same price as the Flash, but much larger, sturdier, and lighter. This is the best choice for anyone looking to get a great outdoor knife.

Great pocket knifewould be love it!,,but it's just a little bit unbalanced/heavy. Be careful too. The knife is super sharp, which is a great thing, but since i'm not used to this knife I've cut myself 3 times already, nothing serious of course.,,,,Great pocket knife, has a nice weight and it comes very sharp out of the box. Glad I got the non-serrated version.
