We have a 65 pound yellow Labrador who overheats easily and are surrounded by hunters. This is SO easy to clip on to your wiggling dog, it is mesh on the underside for ventilation, AND it has reflective strips for when you are running down the road. The dogs don't seem to mind at all, especially after they have associated it with going outside for runs, walks, mountain bikes, ect. It provides the security that I need to know that my dogs are safer, and lets the dogs still have their full range of motion. I am looking for one in large for our newest addition right now, that's how much I love it!!

Dog product gear-head. Found 8 yrs ago for Chicago now use in mts. When adopted 2nd dog didn't want "Sophie's choice" which dog hunters accidentally shot, MANY hrs researched options then got this vest, again. Get if 1) don't want insulation 2) DO want adjustable highly visible for city & backcountry 3) DO want vest to survives sun, snow, mud, rock, water, briars & last as long as the dog that wears it (100 yrs right?). Deluxe safety tips: flashing red light on collar @ night, bear bell (craft store) on harness to warn the wild things we're in hood. My dogs get more admiring looks from haven't seen civilization in months backpackers doing AT than any other creatures.
