The Rab Women's Microlight Jacket truly lives up to its title, weighing in at only 13 oz. Made for alpine climbing, trekking, and travel, this women's jacket is compressible and light, but doesn't compromise warmth and comfort. The outer shell is made with Pertex Microlight 30D, and for insulation, the Microlight is stuffed with 120g of 750 fill power superior quality European goose down. The mini stitch-through baffles stabilize the position of the down, which means you will never have to worry about loss of shape. Rab provides many of their high quality features for the women's Microlight Jacket, including hand warmer and chest pockets with YKK zippers, Lycra-bound hem and cuffs, and YKK front zip with internal down filled baffle. The medium cut provides a relaxed fit without the bagginess often associated with lightweight clothing, so whenever you slip on your Rab Microlight Jacket, you can rest assured you are wearing a technical masterpiece that will never disappoint.

"Nice coat when you don't need extreme warmth"
I really liked the look and weight of this coat, very light, but was disappointed that it was so thin. Someone told me it would be warm enough for northern Indiana winters, but I'm not so sure about that, at least not without a layer over top or underneath. It would be a great coat on its own for spring and autumn, but if you're looking for something really toasty, this may not be the coat for you if you won't be doing a lot of physical activity in it.
