The Rab Men's Xenon Jacket is a lightweight insulated jacket made exclusively for men as a perfect piece for use on alpine trails or cold weather trekking. The exterior and interior linings are made with Pertex Quantum GL 10 Denier rip stop lining with light 60g Primaloft One insulation in the body, sleeves, and hood. The simple and sleek design of the Xenon jacket spares weight and bulk, and the Lycra-bound hood is low volume and compressible, as it was designed to fit under a helmet. Standard Rab features are included for this men's jacket, including a YKK front zip with internal insulated zip baffle and chin guard, YKK zippered hand warmer and chest pockets, double exit hem drawcord, and the entire jacket is compressible for easy storage while on the go. For smart, athletic men who prefer to go light in the mountains, but without sacrificing performance, choosing the Rab Xenon Jacket is a decision you will never regret.

I bought this jacket after buying a primaloft vest and being very impressed with the warmth to weight ratio. So far, this jacket is awesome. It's super-light, really warm, and is not overloaded with features. I bought a medium, which is a bit short in the torso for me at 6'0" and 145 lbs., but overall the fit is great and the sleeves are a good length. The finish of the jacket is very nice, the construction seems sound, and I expect to have the jacket around for a while. I would definitely recommend this jacket to people looking for a lightweight, 3+ season outer layer, or a winter midlayer.
