RAB FIT GUIDE and INFO
• RAB clothing and outerwear is categorized into three different fits. Please use the fit information below to help you find your ideal fit.
SLIM: Close fitting for maximum performance.
REGULAR: Medium fitting, styles with this fit will be contoured with room for movement.
RELAXED: Looser fitting with a more generous fit.
• Please keep in mind that the fit of each garment makes allowances for whether or not clothing will be layered underneath. For example, if it's a regular fit shell jacket, it will still have room for several layers to be worn underneath, whereas a regular fit tee will not. Sorry to sound so bossy.

this jacket is pretty phenomenal!this jacket is incredibly warm, fits fantastically, packs down quite nicely, and so far seems quite durable. as far as warmth is concerned, i can walk my dog in just this and a t-shirt down to about 20, and am fine belaying in the shade with typical climbing layers down to...well, pretty darn cold. as for fit, i'm 5'10 and about 165, size small fits like it was tailored with the back coming down just below my butt. it provides great mobility and won't pull up. it also fits well over a helmet with better than average visibility. it also doesn't have that god-awful michelin man look. ,,only drawback is the lack of interior pockets and the pockets don't have a fleece lining.,,

My favorite piece of gear to dateThis jacket is simply amazing. It's everything a jacket should be and more. It's warm, it fits exactly right, it has an insulated hood, a quality zipper (on the opposite side because its from UK) and can pack into a small stuff sack (included). My winter adventures on the AT trail have always been accompanied by this jacket and I have never second guessed it's top notch quality or design. Whenever anyone asks what kind of winter jacket they should get, without hesitation my answer is "get a rab". Only thing I don't like is that it doesn't stuff into it's own pocket but other than that it's a flawless design.

great jacket, will keep you warmfirst:,,i am 5'9" 150lbs and i bought a medium with the intentions of having room for layering for mountaineering. a medium was the perfect size for this. if you are my size and just wanna wear the jacket around town and have an "athletic" fit (i dont know why you are getting this jacket for that use) get a small.,,second:,,I live in MN and we have already had sub 20 deg F temps this year. I wore this jacket with a short sleeve button up under it and i wasnt cold,,overall:i like the insulated hood. i like the internal baffle behind the main zipper to eliminate cold penetration. only negative is the main zipper is on the opposite side of a normal jacket and cant sometimes be a little finicky. ,,,,

Cracking job GrommittThis jacket is ACE! I also purchased the Neutrino Plus to compare but decided to return that one because the hood wouldn't likely stay up in a serious hurricane unless I was wearing a helmet (hmmm.. Perhaps a helmet in a hurricane is a good idea now I think of it!).,,Anyhoo, I chose to keep the Endurance for pretty much that only reason and am very happy that I did.,,,,Pros: Dead warm; wicked color; wired peak to hood helps more than you'd expect; hood stays up in a hurricane (not actually tested this one though).,,,,Cons: Not as warm as the Plus (apparently, but darned if I can tell); no toasty fleece bits at the chin bit; no toasty fleece in the pockets (yes I do have a thing for toasty fleece).

Solid jacket for the price, has some flawsI bought this jacket and have worn it in temps that reached the lower teens. The hood on this thing is awesome. Very warm, stays in place, and is extremely adjustable. It shielded wind pretty well, but the hand pockets are someone shallow and aren't lined with fleece, which was a big negative. This is definitely a slim fitting jacket. I am 6' 195 with broad shoulders and the large was very tight up top. The armpits were very tight and the arms were a tad bit short. Good jacket if you don't want to break the bank!

Solid Product for a Great PriceI don't have a ton of other true winter down jackets to compare this to, but it kept me warm doing winter biological field work in Northern Minnesota (temps down to -20 or so in the mornings). Throw a good rain jacket over it, and you'll have trouble finding a better winter parka for any outdoor activities you could name. It's not super compressable like a lighter weight down jacket, but it's definitely better in that category than any true winter parka with synthetic insulation. Solid all-around product.

Perfect Balance of Warmth, Weight, and PackabilityI bought this jacket for multiple uses including ice climbing, mountaineering, and backpacking and so far I am very impressed. I bought it for extra warmth during "down time" activities like belaying, eating, resting, taking summit pictures, or sitting around at base camp and for these uses the jacket is great. I would not recommend using this for anything active because it is flat out too warm. In my opinion the jacket provides the perfect balance between warmth, weight, and packability. As for the fit, I am 6'4" 215lbs, athletically built, and ordered an extra large. I typically wear a large but I went with the extra large because I will mostly be wearing it over my shell, mid and base layers. So far the jacket has performed great and has held up to anything I can throw at it.

GREAT cold weather coatI don't ski or climb mountains but here in Chicago the winters are prettttty brutal. This coat is super warm. You can't keep it on indoors actually. It actually doesn't feel hot when temps are 30+, but it feels warm at 20 and below, which is good when you are going in and outdoors back n forth. I love that the hood is fully integrated because it keeps the wind away from my neck so I'm not shrugging my shoulders to keep the wind out. The hood itself is like a pillow and traps so much heat without you feeling sweaty. The only gripe I have is that the zipper is on the left side...odd to use for right handers. As far as size goes I got a LARGE. I'm 5'9 180lbs muscular build, Im pretty sure a medium would be tight unless I wore t-shirts in the winter time. Which with this coat I probably could do!
