"I'd like to call this little dynamo "girl's best friend" but I can hear my boyfriend in the background yelling, "Hey! I'm not a girl!" This headlamp literally goes with me everywhere. Packing a whopping 70 lumens in both the spot and peripheral range, I think it's the headlamp Frodo used to scare that huge spider away in the third Lord of The Rings movie. The lightweight and tiny design has delivered hands-free illumitation while changing a tire on the side of the freeway AND created impromptu disco-lit dance parties in my darkened living room with the strobe setting. Oh yeah, and my favorite part of the lamp is the red light setting that switches with ease when you hold down the button."

"Powerful and Effective" 04/14/12
This little bad boy is small enough to bring on a day trip climbing, but has the sustained battery power for backpacking. I used this light to find my way down a crazy bushwhack in Yosemite in the winter. Got me back to the trail head safe and sound. Doesn't get much better than this.
"Great lamp, very versitle." 03/01/12
One of the best things about this light is it has a good range of light output, the 3 leds give a really good flood light with low enough light output to easily work on something with your hands or stumble to the bathroom at 3am, plus it has a really bright longer throw beam so it covers a wide range of use very well. I'm always torn between this and the petzl tikka's but the extra throw of the remix is great.
"Don't be surprised when all of your friends and nearby strangers fawn over your gadget." 10/26/11
Let's just say I did my research when buying such a tool, and I remain confident to this day that I made the correct decision. If you're looking for a quality, durable, and affordable headlamp, you cannot go wrong with this one. If you're the type that thinks you can get away without buying a headlamp because everyone in your group has one, you're wrong. I knew people of your nature in my group and after our trip they bought this exact one. If you're worried about the extra weight, stop being silly. I love.
"Great headlamp for the price" 10/01/11
I don't know what the high-end headlamps offer that less expensive ones don't, but the Princeton Tec provides plenty of light and is comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. Have used it for cleaning weapons, spec-ops training and shaving my own rear end. Works equally well for all three tasks. True story.
"lightweight, long life, with a powerful light." 09/16/11
this headlamp works great. its super lightweight its got an incredibly long battery life, comes with plenty of functions, the light can go blindingly bright or dim and is water resistant (just don't submerge the light). I also very much like the headlamps ability to use red lights so i can see well when i need to at night without ruining my night vision
"good light, but seen better" 09/11/11
This is a good light. Great for the price. The red leds and bright, but I was a little disappointed with the brightness of the white leds. Overall a good light, but I'll have to see about the durability.

"really enjoy using this head lamp but can't trust it in a back pack, fine in a box" 05/02/11
I use a head lamp almost daily. This headlamp is convenient to use and very comfortable. The light is as bright as the specs say and the distance is as far.My only issue is the on/off switch found on the top of the lamp. When thrown in a jacket pocket or bag it is too easily depressed then the battery is wasted and you are blinded when you open your bag or pocket.(You also look strange with a light on in your pocket.)The only thing you need is a case to pop it in where it won't get knocked about and depressed on accident and you are golden. It is a good lamp though. Enjoy!
"It's a well made headlamp, but would be nice if it were brighter." 03/08/11
I recently bought this headlamp because I had heard that Princeton Tech made some of the best headlamps. Overall the light is very well made, durable, and has a good battery runtime, but my one complaint is that it lacks the power to throw its beam out much further than about 20 ft. Because of this reason I have since returned the headlamp and have purchased a Fenix LD20 which produces over 200 lumens. This coupled with their headband has worked much better than the Princeton Tech Remix. Not saying its a bad light at all, but it just didn't fill my needs properly like the Fenix.
"Once you've used this light, you will be unable to live without it" 02/26/11
This lamp changed my life. Forget backpacking - this thing never leaves my bedside when I'm at home. Indispensable for:-backpacking/camping-mid-night bathroom runs-trying to find that earring that fell to the bottom of my closet drawerIt's super-lightweight. Multiple brightness settings ensure you'll find just the right amount of light for what you're doing (and not to mention - save batteries).Only headlamp that could possibly compete with this one would be the black diamond spot headlamp - but it's bulkier to pack.
"Great headlamp for camping and backpacking" 02/21/11
I have had this headlamp for a few months and love the extremely bright led. It is lightweight so great for backpacking and bright so I dont have to carry a big flashlight to make up for it. Only downside is I wish it had a switch to red light. I recommend it to anybody due to its look, ability, and price.
