The Corona regulated-LED headlamp by Princeton Tec floods your entire field of vision with an even distribution of light. This Princeton Tec Headlamp is designed to reduce eye fatigue, the Corona's wide beam eliminates the need for your eyes to adjust quickly from very bright to dark areas, as they do with standard, narrow beam lights. This princeton headlamp features excellent peripheral lighting simulates normal daylight conditions and allows you to take advantage of your entire field of vision without moving your head. Proprietary heatsink technology and 8 shock-resistant, wide-angle Ultrabright LEDs are the foundation of the Corona. You can switch between 8, 5, 3 or 1 LED output, making it a great hands-free lighting choice to satisfy all of your outdoor, work and personal lighting needs. An innovative circuit system allows you to fine-tune the brightness level on each of the 4 LED modes so you can go from flooding your entire camp site in bright light to reading in your tent. Shine light where you need it using the pivoting head assembly. This Princton Tec LED offers a perfect fit, just adjust the durable nylon head strap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It survived the water, everyone remarked how bright it was, multi light settings rocked I was a little apprehensive about the headlamp. For the most part I figured the first time water touched it, it would be a goner. However, I just competed in an adventure race sprint with the lamp. I didnt use a dry bag and the lamp was sumberged in water for at least 20 mintues. Supprisingly later I realised this as I pulled it out when a missed check point led us into the night. Not only did the headlamp work, but out of the 6 people (my team and another jonined up after getting a little lost) my head lamp was the brightest and I was picked to lead the way and another racer had to ride next to me becuase his lamp broke. I defenitly glad I bought the lamp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nifty Little Lamp THIS IS A NICE WELL THOUGHT-OUT LAMP. THE CONSTRUCTION IS SURPRISINGLY SOLID AND QUITE REASSURING. YOU CAN EITHER BLOCKEDKEYWORDALL THE LEDS OR A SUBSET, DEPENDING ON WHAT YOU NEED - AND THEN THEY CAN EITHER BE BRIGHT OR DIM.

THIS IS AN AREA LAMP, NOT A SPOTLIGHT. IT WORKS REALLY WELL FOR CAMPING AND HIKING, BUT WOULDN'T BE A GOOD LAMP FOR FAST CYCLING OR CLIMBING (BOULDERING SHOULD BE FINE). THE LAMP'S SURPRISINGLY BRIGHT - MAKE SURE NOT TO SHINE IT IN ANYONE'S FACE. BUT THE BRIGHTNESS REALLY HELPS AS JUST ONE OF THESE LAMPS CAN ILLUMINATE AN ENTIRE TENT AND CAMPSITE.

I REALLY LIKE THIS LAMP, AND IT'S BECOME THE FIRST ONE I PULL OF MY SHELF. ALSO, IT'S MADE IN THE STATES

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding headlamp I went through all the headlamps Moosejaw carries very carefully before choosing this one. No other lamp I looked at had its flexibility in terms of range of brightness, from one LED only on at half-brightness (perfect for reading) to all-on full-bright (for lighting up a large area). Especially at its price point, I don't think it can be beaten. I should note that the first one I bought developed a defective switch, but Princeton's customer service on it (I didn't return it to Moosejaw because that would have meant extra border crossings) was amazing. So since then I've gotten another Princeton model, and just ordered two more of these Coronas. Can't wait to get it; recommend it without reservation.,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly recommended I have never been a fan of headlamps but I finally broke down and bought the Prinston Tec Corona. I am now totally sold. It is very bright and stood up to rain sleet and snow wonderfully in the first 3 uses. Three other people in my group commented on how bright it was, overpowering their headlamps. The unit is very comfortable and easy to adjust. The only thing that I could say on the down side is that that turning it on/off with gloves on was slightly tough. I don't care, I love this headlamp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lamp, Super Bright, Totally Worth It. Love this lamp. Bought it for caving, really lights up the place. I've used it for camping/backpacking as well. The 1 LED setting is great when you don't want to blind anyone. It's a little more weight than I'd like for my pack but nothing too terrible. Great battery life. Also have used this while water skiing at night with no spot light. It was only submerged a couple of times but still works like new. Plus the color is ballin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from If your out at night, I would carry this light It is a great head light for long duration, night activities. The battery live blowns away any halogen or other light type. The ability to have multiple light levels is great inorder not to destroy your night vision. The only draw back that I have found is there is not a long distance focus beam of light, although it has a great ability to light up a large area in a more flood light style of lighting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This will blind the sun! Great light for any use. I use it to backpack, deer hunt, and about everyother thing I do at night. Batteries last well even on its highest setting. Allows for adjustment of many brightnesses. Also, Princeton had great customer service. I inquired about the Life Time Warrenty of this product and how to access it. They were great to work with. I plan on getting my hunting buddy one soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from worth its weight in gold!!! i bought this when it first came out. i felt it was an excellent buy because it offered insurmountable amounts of light and got great battery life and wasnt that expensive. i also like the strope feature as well as that you can adjust weather you use all the LEDS 4 or just 1. it is heavy, espically in the back, but itd say its worth its weight...
