"Beautiful machine - just keeps going" 07/23/12

Ive had my Primus lantern for 3 or 4 weeks a year for 10+ years of almost hassle free use. Adjustable from bright intense to low and calm. Super bonus is that I only have to carry one type of fuel for both light and cooking rather than packing around fuel and batteries. Downside is remembering to pack extra mantels and dong the math on fuel consumption.

"This is one heck of a lantern... small, light, fast, easy" 06/22/11

I'd buy one again if I didn't already have one. It's super light, easy to pack, and puts off enough light to cover most any small campsite. I'm set up with other primus gear, so this goes right along with my stove and cooking items... throws off some decent heat too, nice in the cold months!Initial set up can be a bit tricky, but it's nothing a quick trip to youtube.com won't fix. There are dozens of reviews and instructional videos to help with any problems you may have.

"Lots of light small size" 06/04/11

It's about the size of a tennis ball, and will light up your whole camp. If your thinking about buying it you'll love it. I know that everyone been talking up the LED lanterns, but they don't even compare to this one, plus it can be used as a heater when it gets cold. The run time is about 4 to 5 hour with a 100 gram canister. It comes with a nice case, and a cable to hang it. The starter works first time every time and the whole lantern seem pretty durable.
