Outstanding performance but quite heavyThe most obvious feature of this mat is the size. It is both wide and long which is both good and bad. It may not be suitable for a small yoga studio but if you have the space you will appreciate the larger size. ,,The mat is really heavy. On the plus side it does not roll up on the ends, the weight just keeps it down. But if you walk or bike to class you should avoid this mat. Since I drive it is not an issue for me. ,,The mat has a good thickness. Not too soft so you don't wobble in balancing poses. Yet not too thin so my knees don't hurt so much. ,,I don't slide much on the mat. Initially I was sliding quite a bit but after a break-in time I hardly slide any more (but I don't do hot yoga). ,,The mat smells like rubber though. After airing it out for a while (unrolled) the smell got better and now I only smell it on my hands after practice. But I can live with that. ,,In summary, it is a great mat but not perfect, still some sliding and the weight and size limit the usefulness a little.

I LOOOOVE thisI love this mat, although I don't really love it for it's "STICKY" quality... I like it because it's held up better than my other mats over time - the mat isn't falling apart and it's fairly "well loved" - i would recommend this to someone looking for a good quality mat!
