Perfect fit!Got this for my husband for xmas, perfect light-weight down jacket that's ideal for someone looking for a lighter, travel-friendly, but still effective winter coat. Held up great in rain, wind. Perfect as is but fits nicely over a sweater as well. Loved the Charcoal color -- appears much lighter in person fyi but had a really gorgeous maroon inside and hounds-tooth interior of the hood. Definitely a more fashionable Prana coat than I've seen before.

Great puffy for the money, probably not for hardcore mountaineering typesI ordered this because I was looking for an affordable down jacket, but hadn't been able to find one that fit well (I wanted something non-athletic) and kept me warm without breaking the bank. ,,,,The pros: like most prAna clothing, this thing fits super comfortably. I like the attention to detail: the lining of the hood, the interior cloth, the design on the outside of the jacket (it isn't a straight black), and it isn't shiny like a lot of puffies. It keeps me pretty toasty despite being "only" 650-fill down. I like the front pockets, too. They function like on a sweatshirt. The jacket sheds water really well, too! ,,,,The cons: I don't know if I would take this in the backcountry. It is excellent quality, but I suspect something with a higher fill rating would work better. I usually just wear it around town. When you zip the jacket all the way up, it kind of stabs your neck. ,,,,So, overall: super happy with my purchase! This is a great jacket for winter.

Very pleasedusually I have the zip in combo jackets, and this is my first down jacket since childhood. I took a lot of time to select this item. It is cozy, moves well and is a nice fit. I liked the look of it and am even more impressed with the abnormally subtle style since I have been wearing it on the regular. Good value.

Can this jacket be folded down into a pouch? I realize it doesn't come with one...but we are looking for something that will take up very little space when packed/not being worn.

Thanks for reaching out to us! While the Lasser Jacket by Prana does not have the ability to stuff into one of its own pockets for storage, you can buy a 5 liter stuff sack for when it's not in use.

Would you wear this if you had to walk outside in the cold to and from classes (about 20 minutes) in single digit windy weather?

Thanks for reaching out to us! I must say...that's one of the most specific questions we've ever gotten. And, most definitely! I would wear it walking outside in single digit windy weather...and it would keep me warm. This bad boy's insulation is 650 fill down, which is pretty darn great. Hope this helped you out!
