These are my first boardshorts and I'm so glad I switched over. I love the pant length but the area from the waistband to the crotch area is cut a little tight, it might just be the velcro under the ties. They definitely ride low so if you have a lot of junk in the trunk or an extra long crack you may want to reconsidered buying these, but on the other hand if you want to show off your lower back dimples these are the shorts for you- the conservative length makes up for any dignity lost on the top. They do stain really easily so I don't recommend jumping back and forth between the pool and the garden like I did. I felt like there was a lot of care and detail put into these shorts and I love the fact that they're made out of recycled PET plastic.
I like the green color, but, when the shorts dry, water stains are left on the material. It's very strange. I've never had a pair of board shorts (or any clothing) to have this problem. It makes the shorts look dirty when they aren't. Also, the material is soft but everything (especially dog hair) sticks to them, so I think I'll be sticking with regular (not recycled) material for my water sports clothing.
The fabric is so soft and its great that it is made from recycled plastic! Amazing. I didn't think anything that was made of recycled water bottles and such would feel so great. I got the light blue color and it is really pretty. like a light aqua maybe. and the picture make them look longer than they are
