The William Triact-Lock Carabiner by Petzl is a manual locking pear-shaped carabiner with a large opening to accommodate for anchoring of several ropes and slings. This carabiner is best suited for organizing at belays and belaying with a Munter hitch and unlocks quickly in two movements for increased safety. The Triact’s large open gate is perfect to get a bunch of webbing or rope inside and it also has a super efficient key lock nose and gate with no snagging, making clipping into anything clean and simple, even during maneuvers. The red indicator provides a visual warning when the device is unlocked to give you peace of mind when you go to double check your gear. I like to take this one after a day of climbing and spin it around my finger, because I think it makes me look really cool, I could be wrong though.
