"Very simple and straightforward, yet perfect"  05/14/12

I bought the Tikkina 2 for a climbing trip, as I needed a very simple headlamp. This was perfect and exactly what I needed. It doesn't have any extra bells and whistles, but it definitely gets the job done. It has 2 setting, high and low, and is very easily adjustable. And it doesn't break your wallet either! If you need a straight-up plain headlamp, you will not be disappointed with this!

"Good for the price"  04/19/12

It's comfortable and the light is attached on a hinge so it can be moved. It is definitely bright enough for around the campsite, but it would be nice if it was a little brighter for seeing further off in the distance. The batteries last forever too.

"Love it!"  01/05/12

I have the older version of this headlamp which I purchased for myself maybe two years ago and its still going strong. I thought that this would make a great birthday present for my 11 year old brother. He is very active in Boy Scouts and loves it! (surprised he didn't say, where are my Legos) : ) Petzl makes great products and this should last him a good while. Very pleased with this product and so is my brother!

"great light"  10/22/11

This is my 2 tikkuna head lamp, rest forever, this I have for backup in case I do no find the other one, the battery last for 190 hours on saver mode, is like 30 nights of camping (6 hours med./night), portable, stronger, easy, is all you need to carry a light wherever is needed.for the daily (meaning nights) activities.I recommend this to a friend

"Does it's job."  08/09/11

I use this headlamp to conquer the perils of the darkness on my bicycle. It can get annoying at times, and I kinda wish I just got a bike light. It does it's job and it's a pretty decent headlamp for what I need it to do. I plan on taking it caving when I get the chance. Worth the money I spent.

"Decent headlamp for the money"  07/09/11

This is a pretty dec headlamp. Comes in bright colors which is good when you lose it as much as I do. It was my standby until a puppy chewed it up,now its in pieces, but the light still works. So another bonus is its fairly durable. A redlight would be helpful, but overall its a good deal.

"Nice Little Headlamp"  05/15/11

This is a great headlamp. With batteries installed, it weighs only 2.82 ounces. The low setting is adequate for most uses around the house, and when the batteries start to decline, or if you need brighter light, there is the more powerful high setting. The adjustable tilt feature is wonderful, and allows you to direct the beam right where you want it. The colors and design are attractive.I turn off the circuit breaker to my bedrooms at night (to avoid EMFs while sleeping), and use this headlamp to read in bed, and navigate around the house if I get up. I've been using my current one for a couple years, and just ordered two more for spares, because I like it so much.

"So glad I bought it."  04/17/11

I love this headlamp. My only regret is not springing for the one with the red light to avoid blinding your camping buddies. It's super comfortable, and the "tilt" mechanism gets much use everytime I wear it; be it camping, or cleaning dog poop up in the yard at night.

"Survived tornado's and lightning storms"  03/29/11

I got this headlamp about a week before a weekend trip. This was the best thing I have ever purchased for camping! It left my hands free to do important things. To make a long story short it stormed (later we found out that we were under tornado warnings but out in the wilderness you cant hear sirens) and because it stormed I had to continuously fix my rain fly on my hammock, and that is so much easier to do with two hands rather than one hand and a flashlight. This lamp did its job without any problems, even getting drenched couldn't stop it. I would recommend this headlamp to anyone.

"bright and tough"  02/03/11

I recommend this to every camper and hiker. My brother has a more expensive petzl (like ten dollars more) and mine shines brighter than his. The led's are great. Also quiet durable. While digging a snow cave it suffered no snow damage and still works like a charm

"Great Durable Inexpensive Headlamp"  01/16/11

I purchased this light for night running and dog walking. It does an amazing job! It stays put while running and illuminates far enough in front of me (approximately 75 feet) so that I can run at a pretty decent pace on pavement. It could be a little brighter for trail running, but it is great for road running and walking the dogs. SO much easier to clean up after the pups without having to hold a flashlight. All in all a great headlamp for an amazing price!
