"perfect!" 05/21/12

It's got everything I needed, including the red light. Takes a little fumbling with gloves on but so do all the rest. This has been perfect for getting around the tent, getting around the campsite, and even night hiking. Outfit with Petzl Accu Core Battery for better /more consistent brightness through the life of the battery (but overall shorter battery life). And then to really nerd it up, for longer trips, get a Goal Zero solar panel kit to recharge the Accu Core battery!

"GREAT HEADLAMP" 04/11/12

THis headlamp rocks!!!! Its great on batteries and and has multiple setting to choose from. You can also hold down the button for a red light feature for easy reading. The batteries don't drain in cold weather and the strap is super easy to adjust. I would recommend this headlamp to any backpacker, hiker, climber or just car campers looking for a reliable flashlight.
