The Tandem Pulley by Petzl is a double pulley with aluminum sheaves designed for Tyrolean traverses on rope. The Tandem Series of pulleys are designed for movement on a Tyrolean traverses. The in-line sheaves and fixed side plates make them very stable. The three versions allow for numerous configurations, depending on the bearing and the efficiency required. They are simple to use and can also be integrated into complex hauling systems.

"i love it best pully i bought"  09/28/11

i have bin making ziplines in my yard for years then i found out u can use a rope so i took down the wire and put up a climbing rope and now i can zipline with a safe and sucure rope that is not rusted because it is rope

This is the second tandem I've bought now. At first it was my intention to use this thing for zip-lining only, but I've found it is an excellent top rope pulley as well. I still haven't wore my first one out after countless times down the rope at high speeds. Seems really resistant to sand and dirt too.

"ZIP LINE HEAVEN!!! Even our dog took a turn!!!"  03/27/09

these pulleys are great. i've had the same one in my climbing bag for a few years now. has never let me down. just purchased a new one as a back-up. These pulleys are fast and extremely useful. From zip lines to river crossings, mine's done it all. My four legged companion has even hung from it on more than one occasion.

"Zip lines are fun"  07/11/08

A definite must for anyone wanting to zip line. I'm sure it works great in the field of climbing too. Make sure to purchase an oval biner too. D rings don't work so well with it.

"Great for a rope system as well as for fun!!"  06/11/08

I love it! I have a rope going across my ceiling in my loft and I have a sky chair hanging from this ... its great and I could always use it for a pulley system.
