"Well worth the money and good quality" 01/15/11
These crampons do the job and they do it well. I wear La Sportiva Spantik size 46 and they work well with these crampons. I bought the lever wire originally but the toe bail didn't fit my boot right so I went the lever lock instead and they work great. If my boot was any bigger size, I'd probably have to go with a long center bar because the normal is just about maxed out now. All in all, it is a great product and I would recommend it to my friends. The front points are definitely bomber!

it may be on the expensive side for a crampon, but it is worth it. You can do it all with one of these. I have taken it on everything from hard compact snow to vertical ice and it have served me well so far. I got the lever lock wire style and it holds tight. the only down side is if you have big boots is getting it on. I got size 11 boot but they are kind of bulky and i have the crampon maxed out in length and can barely get it on.
"Great Design" 09/17/10
Used these over in New Zealand for 9 days of touring over and through a glacier. great for vertical climbing and having the base plate being interchangeable in sizes means can switch between boots which is a doube plus ++. took them over to patagonia, argentina and used them climbing a few sections of faces that were so very very icey and they didn't loose grip at all. the teeth on these things are perfect length and provided awsome stability without being to high off the ground (like wearing high heals... according to my friend). another great product from petzl
