Inexpensive, high quality product, good performance, very light. Recommended. This rack is somewhat unconventional in its design (2 steady bars and a "flopper") compared to what I'm used to, but I really enjoy using it. At first I thought the non-breaking bars (red anodized) would make the rack more difficult (or at least time consuming) to pack. Great DescenderI ordered this because I saw a fireman exibition and this is what they used to rescue a guy from a building so I figured it must be pretty good. I've used it to descend out of trees (I trim trees for fun) and I love it. It's solid feeling, easy to figure out, and pretty resonably priced. I like it way more than my figure eight or grigri. It's hard to describe but it just feels very predictable.

Good for specific applicationsThis is a good rack. However, it is aluminum and many people will not let you on their lines dry caving community with an aluminum rack. I will be returning this and moving to a stainless rack.
