High efficiency for non-prusik minding applicationsBy my calculations, this pulley is just about as efficient as you can get in this weight range. When you pick it up, you might think it is one of those terribly inefficient nylon "emergency" crevasse rescue pulleys because it is so light but this one is the read deal with metal bearings and all. I had it out yesterday for some rock rescue practice (with full body weights) - seems a thick >6mm cord prusik can be "minded" by this, but any nylon slings (a la kleimheist knot) will get sucked in a jam the system. Totally OK because it is not marketed as a prusik minder anyway. Only nit: rotating side plates on mine are VERY stiff!

Best small pulley option.Get this instead of the Fixe. It's way more efficient (ball bearing vs. bushing). It weighs half as much, and is much harder to drop thanks to the swing sides. I used this with a Tibloc on the West Face of Leaning Tower to haul an ~80lb bag and it worked great.
