Rated 5 out of 5 by from So light you forget you're wearing it! BUT- kinda delicate. Good warm-weather performance too, with plenty of venting. But always make sure this is in the TOP of your pack and don't set on it or knock it about- the poly shell will crack and make you sad. It's designed to do that, to disperse some of the energy of an impact in a real crash/rockfall situation, and that actually helps it perform better than the old-style no-foam helmets, which transfer more of the energy of an impact to your head. The tradeoff in durability is well worth it, in my opinion. I love this helmet and won't go back to my old hard-shell except perhaps for long expeditions, but even then, maybe bring a spare to stash at base camp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A very light helmet I have purchased this helmet from Moosejaw and I want to say I love it! The helmet is very light that I sometimes forget I have the helmet on. The clips on the helmet is great for putting headlamps and my ContourHD to record all my adventures. My only complaint is babying the helmet because of the materials Petzl used. Other rock climbing helmets tend to have a hard plastic shell which is sturdy enough to be bumped around lightly. Petzl Meteor is designed similar to a bike helmet which can crack if bumped hard enough. Overall I do love this helmet and I do recommend compared to other rock climbing helmets sold.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Protects the gray matter. Can't complain. Had mine for a year. I like how it is able to have a headlamp strapped to it. Light weight. On big wall climbs, I find myself forgetting about it sometimes and accidentally bump my head into the wall cuz the helmet is a little bigger than my noggin. Harder to put stickers on it due to its venting and ergonomic shape. So you may not have that BAMF edge, but it will keep your head dry, safe and a tad bit insulated from the elements.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gold Standard of helmets This is kind of the standard decent helmet. It is lightweight, kind of bulky (good for protecting your skull, bad because you are more prone to not wear it), and is rated to be used for biking and I think Kayaking. Quality Purchase for sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you don't love to use a Helmet but you know that is better to do it, buy this one Some years ago I bought the Elios Helmet to go climbing, finally I didn't use it because isn't comfortable, but this one is so light that you feel comfortable using it.
