"all around crampon" 04/12/11

I use these with a Lasportiva Baruntse 46.5, the fit is pretty good, I am going to try a link bar with a bit more arch to it, to improve the fit. but as far as the crampon it self goes, you can climb vertical ice, or / and march up a mountain. They must be sharp because they tore nice holes in my gaiters during a winter climb of Mt. Washington. Double front points can be configured to single points when desired, easy to adjust and they stick well

"Great first set" 03/15/11

Great first set of crampons. Allowed me to find out whether or not i like duel or mono points. Of all the issues I was struggling with (grip strength and bad technique) my feet were never an issue. So, my conclusion was either I had pro foot work or these did all the work for me. My only recommendation is that you go ahead and purchase anti-balling plates. Snow really packs in and it is annoying!

"The best crampons ever" 12/07/10

I have done everything from mixed climbs, to pure WI, and alpine ascents with these things. They are hands down the best crampons ever. I have owned the G14's, Cyborgs, Rambos, Sarkens, and G12's and this is what I would choose 99% of the time. You can switch em up to monos without having to cut ABS plates etc, and they attach to any boot with there multiple hole adjustments. They aren't the best for alpine endeavors since its a vertical point, but they work fine imo. Dont buy the ABS yellow plates for them. Make them out of laundry detergent bottles, the yellow ones for $35 break after the first season.
