Petzl Koda Chalk Bag

The Koda Chalk Bag by Petzl was designed with an ergonomic shape to allow easy access to that soft powdery stuff. This climbing chalk bag was constructed with soft fabrics that won't cause discomfort when wearing a pack or when you're in a crevasse and your back is up against the wall. The Koda can be opened and closed with only one hand so you can get to your chalk while you're scaling that technical 5.11+ you've committed to completing. There's an emergency whistle integrated into the closure system's cordlock (patented) just in case you need to call for help or want to wake up your sleepy friends in a really obnoxious way.

"Great Bag If You Don't Have Huge Hands" 02/08/12

I bought this chalk bag for my wife so she would stop stealing mine at the gym. She likes the design very much and it also holds chalk pretty well. For her it is easy to get in and out of it however for my larger hands I fine it a little difficult and require a chalk bag with a larger mouth.

"Gets the job done" 06/20/11

I ordered the jade green chalk bag. It did not include a belt which would have been nice. Not the biggest fan of the SOS whistle, it gets in my way when I'm trying to open and close the bag. Medium size opening.

"Soft Sack with Big Opening" 03/16/11

I bought this for my roommate but I end up using it every now and then. It's pretty lightweight and very soft on the inside. My roommate is a girl, so she likes the pretty colors, but even when I use it, my big man hands fit inside nicely. It even has a nifty SOS whistle for its draw cord cincher for those times your are highballing by yourself need to call for help (unless you get the wind knocked out of you).

"Nice Bag!!!" 02/14/11

I bought this bag and have used the crap out of it! I LOVE IT! It clips nice to my gear or stands up nice on its own. I haven't had to use the safety whistle yet but it's nice to know its there... just in case. All around great bag and totally worth the money. Buy this!!!

I got the Koda 'cause it matched my harness, and has a BIG opening for my extra wide pitties. Plus, the ladies love the oh-so-adorable built-in mini-me whistle. Yea C'mon!

this bag holds chalk, and looks steezy at the same time. plus, it has a whistle built into it for the times you are lost in the woods with naught but your chalk bag. Its Great!!

"Great bag for any level climber" 03/28/10

I am fairly near to climbing (3 months), but I go all the time. I have fairly large hands being 6' tall. This bag is working out great in all respects. It is big enough to get my hand in to easily while on the wall, and looks good enough people aren't making fun of it while I climb. What more could you ask for?

"Holds Chalk" 05/15/09

Big enough for most hands, Petzl has all new chalk bags that matches the new colors of their harness's, which is great if you have a new harness or care about matching gear. Has a whistle on the side of the drawstring. Just wish it would have included a belt to give more wearing options, but this probably would have increased the price.
