"anti burn" 09/07/09
great rappel device wouldnt use it for belaying anti burn is pretty useless i personally rappel with gloves so i dont have a burn problem to begin with but u can also run your rope up and around the anti burn tab to add some friction if your a heavy person take it easier on your hands

I've always been satisfied with the petzl products I have purchased and the Huit Antibrulure is no exception. It provides smoother descents than I have had on other figure 8's. As for the anti-burn tab, it's helpful, but not necessary, just don't be stupid and touch the aluminum right after you rappel, use your shirt or something, unless you don't wear shirts, in which case the tab might be helpful.

this is a very innovative product! It's big and easy to use. the antirulure has a little hold so your hand will not feel too hot. The color is cool, and it's high quality.Compare to basic figour 8, it's a little too expensive.
