"Not impressed" 03/20/12

Maybe I got a bad one but after fiddling around with it for a while, I finally got the switch to work but the halogen light was very weak. The LEDs work ok but a much smaller and lighter headlamp would do just as well. I bought it for night paddling because it is supposed to be waterproof and the halogen spot would help me find marks in the dark but it fell way short of expectations and hype. Not impressed.Phil - Australia

"Great Multi use lamp!" 09/26/11

As I was preparing for an upcoming camping trip, I knew I needed a good lamp. I did my research and came across this beauty. Not only does it come in handy for the midnight runs to the restroom, (During camping of course) but it also is very hand when you are in your attic or under the house and need some extra light. I love this product so much, I got two.

"great light" 06/06/07

I have had the original duo for probably 10 years and my only complaint is that the head band finally stretched out beyond repair.... the high beam is probably the best part... and i am sure using LEDs will make the low beam conserve batteries even better...

"Awesome headlamp and great on battery life-larger headlamp but well worth it!!" 11/14/06

This is my second Petzl Duo the first being the original version and could not wait to try the LED version....I was looking into going with the 8 or 14 LED version but thought I would try the 5 LED version and am glad I did. Its super bright and really like the fact that the battery's last such a long time. Battery life is much greater than the oiriginal verson Duo and is as tuff as my last Duo, very waterproof and super tuff. <BR><BR>Its also nice to have the locking button so it never gets turned on while in my pack....I use to use the Holegen bulb quite often on my last Duo but with the LED's I find I rarely need the bigger bulb now, this saves on battery life and now battery's last much
