Rated 4 out of 5 by from A little different . . . This carabiner is definitely a different creature and I’m not really sure what to make of it just yet. The locking mechanism is, with some practice, much quicker then the screw type. However I still think the ball type is by far the quickest. I want something I can do with one hand if, I had too, and I don't think I could do it with this carabiner 100 percent of the time. Ferb

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dedicated belay and rappel biner a little difficult to get used to, but as a righty the locking mechanism is fast and easy to use. I keep this biner as my belay everything biner. I never have to worry about forgetting to lock it, and when you get the hang of it you can take it off in about 3 seconds. oval d shape also resists cross loading and sudden load shifting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent and at a sensible price Excellent of course. Can be easily opened and closed with only one hand. The triact system prevents the carabiner from working itself open, like regular twist-locks or screw-locks sometimes do. Therefore it's my favorite choice for tree-climbing activities and for regular top anchoring.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sweet Biner These are good biners, I bought two four months ago. They're solid biners and smooth operating too. The ball lock are about as good, but I like these for one handed operation. I use these for tree climbing as they meet industry safety standards. Nice, flashy, functional.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very effective biner... I use this carabiner for my friends or young scouts that are just starting to climb. Many times they have forgot to screw the gate all the way. But with this autolocking biner, it's ensured that i don't have to double check their clipping in. I'll definately be buying more.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I guess it works for some people... I hate to be the killjoy on all of the rave reviews. However, if you are looking for a 'biner you can operate with one hand this is not the one. Go with a simple screw-lock. I bought this to try it out and it sucked. If anyone wants it drop me a line.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite! This is by far my favorite of all locking biners. I do technical tree climbing, and I love the triacts so much more than the ball lockers. Also better than screwgates..Cause..well..You don't have to screw anything...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great autolocking biner These biners seem very safe with the triple action autolocking gate. There is an adjustment time associated with them though for one handed operation. Overall, I'm satisfied with these but doubt I would buy again.
