The AM’D Screw-Lock Carabiner by Petzl is a manual locking multi-purpose carabiner for connecting devices to a harness or to use at the end of a lanyard. Specially adapted for attaching equipment (rope clamps, etc.) with an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. Recommended for dirty environments where dust and dirt could cause an automatic locking mechanism to malfunction. The Keylock system helps prevent snagging of the carabiner during maneuvers. You are free to get down and dirty with this one, I played volleyball in the mud once in the summer, I think I still have mud in my left ear.
