"i love my fancy backpack!"  01/21/12

This backpack is awesome. It has the perfect number of pockets and pouches, they are not out of control like some of the packs these days. I like it because it is big enough for my books to fit in, yet small enough to strap onto the rack on the back of my bike. It is also the perfect size to pack for a weekend trip. Plus the Amaranth color is just so pretty :) And its real comfortable....I could go on and on!

"Worth the money"  10/10/11

I took it on a couple of trips. 3 days roaming around Chicago and 2 days hiking through Wisconsin. It's the perfect size and seats comfortably on the back. The straps on the front are ideal for holding the bag while opening it. The small pouch on the top is good for keeping wallets/sun glasses.

"Great for everything"  09/09/11

I was worried about how much space this backpack would have, seeing as I'd be using it for school, but rest assured, it's got all you need! The pockets are very convenient and this backpack is fairly waterproof (I wouldn't trust it as much as a dry bag though).

"LOVE the bookbag for looks, but a tad small!"  08/24/11

I have carried a NorthFace Vault bookbag for years and when it finally started to fall apart, I decided to try a Patagonia. Although the pack is quite cute, it is a tad small for me to fit all of my textbooks and laptop in at the same time when traveling around campus. The laptop sleeve is a major plus and I love the water bottle pockets on the sides. The pack has great organizational pockets inside and the front pocket is also quite convenient. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would make it again!

"Perfect Day Pack"  08/18/11

I have been looking for a day pack that was not HUGE for a long time and I finally found it. This pack is the perfect size and has just the right amount of compartments for everyday use. Highly recommended for just hacking around.

"Amazing for the Sale Price"  07/25/11

I bought this bc I was going on a trip and needed a backpack that wasn't the North Face I've been using since 9th grade. I would have kept on using it except for the fact that I needed a backpack to carry around some very expensive camera equipment and wanted something more water proof. I'm petite so I also needed something compact that wouldn't tip me over and this was definitely the ticket. I'll be honest, though, it was the price that really sold me. I had casually shopped for other comparable packs and everything else was way more expensive. I wish they'd show you a pic of the inside (hint hint Moosejaw) but it really is great -- a million smartly designed compartments and pockets.

"Great things come in small packages"  04/20/11

I bought this backpack to use for everyday collegeness. I hate big, bulky backpacks, so I went w/ this small gem of a pack. Its quite compact, but offers ample room for binders, laptop, books, & even my lunch bag. On days requiring me to bring a lot of books to class.. I sometimes have to get a little creative w/ my packing method. But Ive never not been able to pack up everything I need. Outside pocket is great for a rain jacket or umbrella. Inside organization couldnt have been designed better, & the zippered pocket up top offers a protective area for sunglasses or an ipod. & best of all, Im not one of those meanies knocking coffee out of peoples' hands with a big bully of a backpack.

"Great Backpack for the price"  03/09/11

Definitely worth the price!I've used it for biking, hiking, and commuting. Great spot for a laptop or bladder. And lots of little compartments on the inside for things. Very waterproof too! I got caught in the rain on my bike with my laptop inside this bag. It was VERY heavy rain for about 5 minutes and I thought it might've seeped into the bag, but i was wrong. Everything inside was bone dry.

"great pack all around"  11/30/10

the Yerba is an excellent pack both on and off the trail. for the most part i use this backpack for school and it functions splendidly! it has some handy pockets on the inside that hold a variety of items. The top pocket is perfect for cell phones, it has a super soft lining that keeps everything from getting all scratched up. The side pockets hold a nalgene nicely and are deeper than i thought. All in all this is a very neat and clean backpack without a bunch of bells and whistles.

Perfect for a few books, files, lunch and misc commuting gear. Not too big like some packs and of very high quality. Would definitely recommend this one.
