"Great pullover, but if you're busty, order the next size up!"
I have wanted one of these pullovers since my friend bought one in light blue and it looked adorable on her. I decided to order a different color (turquoise) and anxiously waited for it's arrival. I got it in 3 business days which was awesome! It's color is a little more blue than the picture portrays, but it's still a beautiful color. The fit is great (I ordered a small, I'm 5'2 and 130 lbs) BUT if you are busty, order the next size up! I'm a 34 C and the armpit area is just a tad uncomfortable (not unbearable but noticeable). Overall, I'm extremely happy with this purchase, and I will definitely buy another one in the near future!
I am a Patagonia fan. I own three of their jackets (torrentshell, nano puff, and pelage). I love them all. They can be $ but they make a quality product, and I appreciate and respect that as a recreational seamstress. This pullover is no exception. I got the purple to match my ski clothes, and it is a great color. The fabric is super soft and not as fuzzy as I thought it would be, which is a good thing as you can get away with wearing it in the fall and spring, too, not just winter. Another win.I am about 118 lbs and 5' 4" and petite. A lot of reviews with my measurements said to get a small, but I am usually an XS. I ordered both to try them and see. The S was way too big (longer length, sleeves were too long, too baggy). If you were going to put thicker layers on underneath, like another sweatshirt, you would want the next size up. But in order to wear it as a lounge shirt and midlayer for skiing, there was no way I could wear the S. The XS was the perfect size for me.
So I have the Patagonia Better Sweater and I love it but I wanted something a little more softer and warmer and this was it! Definitely amazing but I wish it was winter again so that I could wear it more often.
This jacket truly is everything I thought it would be. It is an awesome product! I would get one in every color if I could! Highly recommend....the size is pretty normal. I am around 5'4 and 130 lbs. I got the medium and it is perfect. Room enough for layers underneath! :) I got the purple and it is lovely. If you don't buy this you will regret it!!
"Pretty color but not as warm as expected"
I love my Patagonia. I spent weeks researching what kind/color/style I wanted. I ended up with the coral. I think it's brighter than you can tell on the website and the hot pink trim is a little overwhelming, but it should be perfect for cool spring days. The fleece is a little less warm than I expected. It's good if you need a coverup, but true to most fleeces, the wind whipped right through it as I was pumping gas. The hoodie pocket in front is very handy! I thought it was two separate pockets, but it's one large one like on a a sweatshirt. I think next time I'll order a full zip or one with a hood, but overall I really like this product and have gotten a lot of compliments on it!
It's like wearing a hug. But really, this is the softest, warmest fleece I've ever had. It stays as soft as the day you get it through multiple washes. It's no fuss. It's fuzzy and it's loose with very little shape, so if you're looking for something figure flattering, this is not it. Also, the boob pocket is awkward for putting things in. I have accepted that my left boob will look lumpy if I actually use the pocket, but I'm more for utility over style. It's a perfect layer if you're running to class or going for a hike on a cool day. I wear it inside, outside, on errands, while snowshoeing...anywhere really. This jacket is the bomb diggity.Height: 5'9" w/ athletic build and the medium fits me fairly loosely.
This pullover saved my life...well, not really. It's warm and fuzzy like a Nicholas Sparks novel, but it won't make you cry. I recommend buying one for yourself and bullying your friend into buying a complimentary color so you can walk around looking even more awesome than a blonde and a redhead in not matching pullovers.Be warned, however, if you have a big head, you are going to feel a sense of deja vu for your birthday every time you put it on...and I'm not talking about cake and presents here.Overall, a real nice purchase. You won't regret this bad boy.
