Women's Fit Guide Details & Info

Patagonia's measurements refer to body size and NOT garment dimensions. Sorry for yelling about it.

Each Patagonia product is designed and shaped specifically for its intended use, and below are their generalized four fit descriptions, and details about each fit. The Patagonia fit for each style can be found in the product description features or specifications.

FORMFITTING
• Conforms to the body's contours.

SLIM FIT
• Closer-fitting. Slim-fitting technical garments may be worn over baselayers and light midlayers.

REGULAR FIT
• Neither slim nor oversized. Regular-fitting technical garments may be worn over heavier midlayers. Men's regular fit pants have a slimmer fit through that thigh, lower leg, and cuff.

RELAXED FIT
• Drapes loosely on the body. Men's relaxed fit pants have a bit of extra room through the hip, thigh, lower, and cuff.

CLASSIC BOY FIT
• Boxy, athletic, with a traditional crew neck.

ANIKA FIT
• Formfitting and longer in the torso, with a wider, deeper neck (not quite scoop).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect balance of practicality and fashion! This coat is absolutely wonderful. I had been eyeing it for months, and it magically went on sale. The inner layer is adorable by itself. It is form fitting and it is quite warm. Living in Chicago and having to walk at least a mile outside daily, I needed a warm coat but still wanted to look cute! This is it. My only complaint is that the outer shell has extremely small pockets. I have small hands, xs in gloves, and they barely fit in there! Let alone my phone. For sizing reference I am 5' 4" and 115 and ordered the XS and it fits like a glove. Sleeves are the perfect length, and it hits my knees. If you are unsure about this coat, buy it. You will not regret it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Select your level of warmth and look great too. I wore this while on a Mardi Gras float throwing out beads, so not able to move around to keep warm. It was freezing but I stayed warm and looked cute without looking puffy. I was asked out by two guys, both younger than me, while wearing this coat. One was a fireman, that was fun. The coat is very versitile and has a nice femine fit. I like being able to remove the hood if needed and the zipper that seperated the inner down coat from the shell is exceptionally well made. The way it zips together is well thought out. It buttons inside at the sleeves to keep the them together, so when you pull your arm out the sleeves stay together. Anyway, great coat. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get ready to welcome a warm, chic, versatile new best friend into your wardrobe. I needed a warm coat that would look nice. This coat does that and so much more. I'm 5'3" and it falls just before my knees- perfect for keeping wind out and covering the ends of dresses. It feels amazing on- the waist cinches in the tiniest bit so that you can actually feel like you have curves. The hood fits amazingly well. And the collar looks extremely chic. When the weather got up to 45-50º and rainy, I separated the coats and used the outer trench. It was very water and wind proof. The under coat's diamond stitching erases the puff effects and I love wearing it on its own too. Patagonia did everything right. 3 different coats in one, and a cut that will be trendy forever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Coat! Just received in time for Denver's second storm of the season. I looked hot while commuting on the train this morning. Some guy across from me kept giving me the eye and then I realized the dude was my husband and was probably eyeing my new purchase that somehow slipped through the door without him noticing. I'm 5'8" - 135 and the Medium fit well. Caution, however, it is a slim fit and fits tighter than a regular fit coat. The pockets are a bit small, but not a deal breaker. Style and warmth without the bulk and "puff" of a regular parka. Beginning of the season I was shopping for both a new car coat and parka. Found both my needs were met with this one purchase. Highly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super Flattering and Warm! So I choose this coat because it seemed like a good bargain compared to the actually price on the Patagonia website (though still expensive). Online I didn't think it looked cute at all and I was just hoping it would keep me warm through Canadian winters but it's actually super cute on! It's a little on the small side (slim fit) but nothing a few crunches...well maybe more than a few crunches...will fix. Also I expected it to be a lot heaver and thick but it's actually pretty light and not bulky but still warm! The pockets on the outside are relatively small though - my hand won't fit in them and I have small hands, but other than that I feel like it will last a long time and was a good purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Look like a Fashionista in cold weather Wore it already as a shell, just the down jacket. Got compliments left and right.,,Looking forward to test the "whole as as a unit" when the temps drop.,,,,Even without the inner down the shell is quite streamlined and pretty. I wore it to work over a business suit. You would never know it is not a regular trench ;),,,,Wish the sleeves on the down inset would be more drawn together by elastic so cold/wind does not sneak under.,,Perhaps the next batch will get that option.with a bit larger pockets on the shell. The pockets on the down inset are good size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy this Coat This is the Mother of all Coats -- great looks, smart design and function. I love how FLAT and slimming the down is! Down is very warm, and weighs no more than a sheet of paper, plus the direction of the stitching is very flattering. Front pockets are zippered and lined, and I can wear this coat over a blazer to work with plenty of room to move my arms. I get complements every time I wear this -- you will, too. Recommend the brown color if you are pale in the winter and you're tired of seeing everyone wearing black coats.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cannot Say Enough Good Things About This Coat! I love this coat! I didn't purchase it through MooseJaw (wish I had!) but I love it so much, I felt compelled to write a review for it here! It's like 3 jackets in 1! So worth the price! Very flattering and sleek looking and you can dress it up or down! Keeps me so toasty and warm and it's super easy to remove the down liner and wear just the shell alone or the down jacket! It even has pockets so it looks like a completely separate coat by itself! It was certainly a splurge but it's so functional! 100% worth it!!!
