Got these for my wife and she loves them. She has used them a half dozen times since ordering. Keep her dry when its wet and they are fairly breathable. Nice quality but that comes with the Patagonia price.
"Watch out rainy season! I've got protection!"

I purchased these pants for the rainy season in Himachal Pradesh. I'm 5'10'' with shorter legs and I got a medium. They fit perfectly and can be easily worn over other pants or baselayers. I've worn them in the rain in Wisconsin to try them out and they passed with flying colors! Really great value for the price.
Bought these to wear during winter cycling and they rock! Even wore them walking to class a couple of times during a downpour. Keeps you Dry and Stylish. Only downfall no pockets
Used these trousers in the heavy rain we occasionally experience here in houston, and even while sitting on the bikeseat, the trousers were waterproof. What i would suggest to patagonia to incorporate is another type of patent to how to close the trousers on the boots, because you still get wet if you step into too deep of a waterpond. But all in all, supergood and mosdef worth the price.
