"Warm but tight fit" 02/06/12
I purchased this fleece for wearing when it is chilly inside my home. I do think it is a high quality material and definitely keeps me warm. I think this is a tight fit and I always wear a size medium. If I were to buy another, I would go up a size. I prefer a looser style.

Another perfect Patagonia item. If in doubt size up on this, I am 5'1" 34 C size 4/6 and found size small to be a bit small and short, the medium is perfect, especially since jeans now a days are lower waisted. Worth every cent since you will grab this almost daily, whether in the house & just need a little extra warmth w/o bulk or out running errands or as an extra layer under a winter coat... I love it!

Comfy good standby item to throw on for added warmth without a lot of bulk. Order up if at all in doubt. In my opinion also runs a bit short on overall length. I am 5'1", 115 lbs, 34 chest and normally get small in jackets but returning for medium.

I absolutely love this vest. My mom bought it for me as a good luck gift before exams last fall and I literally wore this thing once a week. It's perfect because it's light weight and allows your arms to breathe. I pair it with a long sleeve tshirt and I'm good to go. I get tons of compliments and many of friends have since purchased their own. Two thumbs up!
"What were they thinking with the 2 tone?" 12/12/10
I have 2 other synchillas from years past, and love them, but what was Patagonia thinking with this 2-toned one? I love the color (blue) but there's a light blue contrasting stripe in the collar that really sticks out. Since I normally have the collar down, I wasn't a fan. I'll stick with my old ones. Also, these tend to stretch out over time and the sizes are not necessarily dependable from one piece to the next. Order the smallest size you think would fit..

I got this vest about a year ago (the style hasn't changed since then) and I absolutely love it. It is warm, comfortable, not too heavy, and I get tons of compliments on it even though it's just a plain fleece vest. Great buy!

I had long quested a vest in an extra-small. I wear vests as a jacket in the balmy Southeast and as a mid-layer when skiing the Rockies. Unfortunately, I had a hard time finding a vest that had a feminine cut to fit under my tailored ski jacket. Then one day, the winter gods sent me the Synchilla. It is a banging little vest, at once a sleathy mid-layer while also a sweet, "hey I'm a girl under here" spry vest about town. This vest wears beautifully and ages well. Wash. Dry. Ski. Party. It all works with the Synchilla vest. And, yes, it is real Synchilla. Protesters be damned. :)

I bought this vest for fall and spring and it was well worth it. It's totally stylish and adds the perfect amount of warmth.I walk my dog every morning in it. It's great quality. I expect it will last forever. It's also light enough to go for a jog in. I feel like I don't even have a sweater on but it keeps me warm. The pockets are also big enough to where you can keep your keys and phone and not have to worry about a purse. I definitely suggest purchasing it. For women who are looking for comfort yet something nice looking, it's a must!!!

This is a wonderful vest. The arm holes are cut just right--not too big, not too small. The weight is perfect for chilly houses, for cool days with Capeline 3 underneath and for cold weather layering it underneath a jacket. It washes well, retaining its shape and brand new look. The pockets are placed well and big enough to be useful. This is a solid value for the money. you won't regret buying.

I love this vest...it was perfect...I needed a warm layer to play golf in 30/40 degree temps...I wore this nice toasty comfy stylish vest underneath my jacket... perfect layer..no restrictions in my golf swing...so warm I took my jacket off and I was warm enough... buy it, you will wear it a lot!!AliP.S. Why would anyone play golf in 30/40 degree temps? State Finals in Michigan :)

I needed a warm layer under my jacket to golf in 40/30 degree weather...it was so perfect and so warm and didn't restrict my playing...I even stripped off the jacket and it kept me toasty...and the bonus was It looks awesome on ...love it! Ali
