The Patagonia Women’s Slim Insulated Powder Bowl Pants are a waterproof ski pant for a day on the slopes. The slim fit runs close against the body, with room for a base layer underneath. To keep you warm on the chair lift, 60g of Thermogreen insulation traps the heat. No need to fear deep powder or landing on your butt, the Gore-Tex 2-layer fabric is waterproof and a durable water repellent finish helps bead up any water droplets so they can roll right off. Elastic grippers keep the gaiters in place so snow won’t sneak into your boot and scuff guards protect the pants against sharp edges. When you hit the lodge for a break, open up the thigh vents for a quick release of excess heat.
Products on Sale are Discontinued Styles or Colors.

Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. It's cute to think of a fabric as being afraid of water. Now if only they could make a bearphobic coating. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

And that would make sense, because living under a rock is probably the only place where you wouldn't need the durable waterproof and windproof protection that GORE-TEX fabrics offer. So when you're ready to venture out from under your rock, arm yourself with the comfortable protection of GORE-TEX.

Women's Fit Guide Details & Info
Patagonia's measurements refer to body size and NOT garment dimensions. Sorry for yelling about it.
Each Patagonia product is designed and shaped specifically for its intended use, and below are their generalized four fit descriptions, and details about each fit. The Patagonia fit for each style can be found in the product description features or specifications.
FORMFITTING • Conforms to the body's contours.
SLIM FIT • Closer-fitting. Slim-fitting technical garments may be worn over baselayers and light midlayers.
REGULAR FIT • Neither slim nor oversized. Regular-fitting technical garments may be worn over heavier midlayers. Men's regular fit pants have a slimmer fit through that thigh, lower leg, and cuff.
RELAXED FIT • Drapes loosely on the body. Men's relaxed fit pants have a bit of extra room through the hip, thigh, lower, and cuff.
CLASSIC BOY FIT • Boxy, athletic, with a traditional crew neck.
ANIKA FIT • Formfitting and longer in the torso, with a wider, deeper neck (not quite scoop).
Rated 4 out of
Great pants, but fit small!I know these will be great pants, but I was disappointed that my usual size small did not fit. These fit much tighter than my size small patagonia primo pants from last year. I would recommend ordering a size bigger! For reference, I'm 5'7", 130 pounds and have an athletic build.
