"Patagonia is Great, These Pants Are Not" 02/02/11
The fabric is stretchy and lightweight, though it has a tendency to gather random pet hair like a magnet. They have strange side seams that cross the front on the lower legs. I could have overlooked these nitpicky details, but the poor fit is what made me send them back. The real problem was the baggy legs. This pant is designed for rock climbing, so presumably you want to be able to see your feet and not have giant pant cuffs to get in the way. And the length! PLEASE, Patagonia, not everyone is 5'10" and needs a 32" inseam! Give us a "short" option. We are dropping enough money on your gear to begin with, we shouldn't have to then pay a tailor to make it fit properly.
"I hope Patagonia never stops making these pants" 11/10/10
These are by far my favorite climbing pants ever. The lightweight fabric is great for warm weather climbing, but with a base layer underneath, you can 3 seasons of climbing out of one pair of pants. I think the fit is great and the fabric does move well. My only complaint is that I had to hem them about an inch. I'm 5'6" with 31" inseam, I believe all of Patagonia pants now come with a standard 32" inseam
"Bad Fit" 02/21/10
I'm in need of a new pair of climbing pants...these seemed like the perfect choice. Unfortunately once I tried them on I realized they couldn't fit me worse! The crotch was too long, the leg length was too short, they actually fit in the waist but were huge in the butt. Problem is, I can't go down a size because they are already too short and would only be worse :(
