"great quality at a great price." 02/25/12
First of all, all of Patagonia's products are top notch and I've never had a problem with them. I ordered the Nano Puff jacket and the Retool Hoodie and I'm very happy with both. This jacket is lightweight and provides warmth without the hassle of carrying around a coat or a fleece. Very easy to move in. Not too puffy - you won't look like a marshmallow with it on! Also I'm pretty sure it folds up into itself. Patagonia is a great company, get this product at such a great price while you can! I ordered a medium in the turquoise color and it fits true to size. Very pleased!
"Get it!" 01/21/12
This jacket is totally super warm!! I haven't had a chance to wear it in super-cold weather yet because I live in florida...but it will make a cold trip soon enough. I did test its abilities to keep me warm though...in the walk-in freezer at the restaurant I work at, its 0 degrees in there. It worked really well. And its lightweight and packable to boot!
". . GREAT JACKET but . ." 01/15/12
. . Very light, yet WARM, and a great color. I returned it for the same color Mango Patagonia Sweater Jacket instead. I didn't like this Nano Puff Hoody just for the fact that it has that quilted look stitching on the entire jacket. Just not my style. I liked the Sweater Jacket instead because it had the horizontal lines instead of the quilted look. Depends on your style again.
"awesome" 01/10/12
This jacket is the best. It is still blowing my mind that it can be so light weight, yet so warm. Another thing I really love it that you can move around good in it. I have a North Face jacket and I feel so limited in my range of motion. With the nano puff, I can do all the crazy moves. I was between the nano puff and Patagonia's down sweater, but I went with the nano because its cheaper, and the nano's down alternative works when it is wet too...just in case The nano is supposed to be slightly less warm than the down sweater, but I got a fleece pullover for $8 at Walmart to layer with the nano and I am super warm!!! Get this jacket for sure.
"great jacket" 11/05/11
I am a mom of two who doesn't spend much time or money on on me. This jacket was the best investment I have spent on myself. It's the perfect no brainer "go-to " jacket. It is super warm and lightweight. Living at 9,000 feet in the rockie mountains I need a coat that will hold up against the weather. From plowing 3 feet of snow in the morning to those cool summer evenings, this coat is very versatile. I layer it over top a hoodie for extra warmth in the winter and wear as is in the spring and fall. Plus I love the orange color. Makes it super easy for my kids to spot me when I am waiting for them outside of school or hiking up in the woods. love this jacket!
"Don't be a fool." 08/28/11
How could this not be an unbelievable jacket if a boy bander actually touched this jacket? (Thank you Nick Lachey) Anyway, living in San Francisco the weather often is bi polar. This jacket is the medication I needed to warm my soul. Not only does it do the job, having a kelly green jacket makes me noticeable when trying to be seen by my Irish friends. The hood is perfect as it wraps properly around my face, it's crazy light weight and will ball up in my bag when it isn't needed. Don't wear this jacket if you are trying to spy on a neighbor, or if you don't want to be seen. But if you don't want to be seen, I'd suggest wearing black.
"Nice jacket, but green looks like a leprechaun" 04/10/11
This jacket is nice and light, and perfect for the shoulder season when my down jacket is too warm but a light sweater is too cold. I'm 5'7" and 140 lbs, 36B. I got a medium which felt surprisingly bulky around the middle, although the sleeve and body length was fine. I'm returning it because the colour is awful -- it looks like a medium green but it's really really bright! More than one friend says it looks like a leprechaun. If it fit better, or if the green was better, I would keep it but the combination is too much.
"love it" 02/27/11
got mine in green... it's ridiculously light but pretty warm and i love it almost as much as my skis (maybe not ?) mostly worn it after skiing but not much outside yet.... its pretty cold here yet but will update when it gets warmer... have slept with this on very comfy... soft to touch. very seriously with just a tee its pretty loose... i am 5'6 and 125 lb i might be framed smaller but pretty normal so i think it might run a touch big in the waist... u may want it this way...it is easy move around
"Light, Warm, and Beautiful!" 12/01/10
It's so great that I spoon with it at night! The nano puff is one of the lightest insulated jackets on the market weighing less than a pound. It's super warm and compressible. The jacket is perfect for belays on a multi-pitch or if the weather turns cold. I prefer the hooded nano puff because it traps the heat better on your noggin so you feel warmer. I think everyone and their grandma should buy it!
"Great Jacket" 11/04/10
I wore my nano puff hoody for the first time last weekend and have been wearing it ever since. It is perfect for fall weather. I purchased a second one recently without the hood because it will pack smaller without it and would like it in spring as it folds so small. If your one to like to go out in the day and don't know when you will be venturing back it is nice to be able to tuck away a jacket conviently for latter use. I also found it fun to wear to work in the morning. I haven't had to turn on the car heat yet with it on which saves on fuel. I also never forget my jacket at work or feel like I'm lugging it home as I tuck it away in my bag.
"Light, warm, packs down small" 10/29/10
This is my favorite jacket ever. It's soft, comfy, light, and incredibly warm. For me the hood fits perfectly--tightly enough to keep the gusts out but not so tight that I can't move around a little. This jacket also packs down in its own chest pocket to a tiny bundle. Also has convenient pocket zips and a chin guard as well as tighteners at the hem, and has no snags/damage despite near-constant wear since I got it. The only tiny complaint i have is that it gets a little staticky sometimes, but I can absolutely live with that for all the other bonuses.
