"keeps you warm!" 12/04/11
Patagonia does it again... I am super impressed with my Micro Puff, I purchased it in Lagoon and it works perfectly with my Lagoon Triolet Gore-Tex Shell. A great addition and soft-shell layer to keep you nice and toasty warm on the mountain!
"Perfect Jacket" 11/30/10
I LOVE this jacket. It is very lightweight and super warm. I love that it had a hood. It works great alone or under my shell. I normally wear a small and a xs fits perfect. I would size down. Them men's coats also run big my husband had to return his for a smaller size.
"My favorite jacket" 11/29/10
I love this jacket! It's my go to jacket in the fall, winter, and early spring. It's a great mid layer in Brrrr weather and outer layer in chilly weather. I love how compressable the material is! It fits under just about any shell and stuffs down to easily fit in a day pack. I wear it under my motorcycle jacket on chilly mornings. I've worn it snowboarding on powdery days and sledding in wet snow. While the outer material did begin to get wet - I never got wet or cold. I wouldn't wear in a downpour or for heavy work (like chopping wood - the material probably isn't tough enough for that), but other than that it's my favorite jacket or mid-layer for all my cool/cold weather pursuits..
"Awesome color, a bit on the thin side" 11/09/10
I'm 5'8 135lbs and an avid backpacker. The weather doesn't matter as long as you have the right gear. This jacket is extremely compact and has all the right lengths; hits below the hip and covers lanky arms. Only problem is to stay warm in this jacket MANY layers will be required. I already wear underarmor shirts and a thick fleece or sweater under the jacket and it is only fall. If you are looking for a great 3 season jacket to move around in, this is it. If you are thinking about winter, keep looking.
