"Great fit, great color, and easy to move in!" 04/02/12

I'm really thrilled with these boardshorts. I got the aqua color, and they're really a beautiful, airy color. They fit wonderfully, without squeezing the leg or bunching up in any spots. The cut is really flattering in both the front and the back, and the pockets look streamlined when closed. I got these to be part of a bathing suit, but I'm looking forward to the next hot day so I can wear them about town!

"Finally boardshorts made for "Women"!" 01/30/12

I am going on a yoga retreat which also includes surfing for beginners. Every other site I have checked only carries board shorts in junior sizes. These fit perfect for a small woman who has some curves, but no junior curves. First time buyer with Moosejaw - very happy :-)!

"Will probably live in these shorts this summer!" 04/23/11

I'm 5'6",135-140lbs. curvy,athletic build, looking for a board short to go with my swimsuit. I wear a sz 6-8.I first tried the Patagonia wavefarer & ordered a sz 10 based on garment measurements. The 10 in the wavefarer short was snug around my rather big butt,& the 4" inseam hit the thickest part of my thighs in a rather unattractive way.I ordered these (meridian) shorts in a sz 8 & 10 to compare.The 8's are perfect! 6" inseam is just right.I could probably even do the size 6 b/c of the stretch.10's in this short are WAY too big around the hips, as I could pull them off even when tied. I love these shorts and will probably order a second pair in another color!

"Absolutely ROCKIN'!" 04/09/10

Not that you would rock climb in them... (though I guess you could)... but these shorts are friggin' awesome! I rollerblade 3-5 miles a day, swim with my four kids, motorcycle when I can, and love to hike. These shorts can go the distance (though I don't recommend them on the motorcycle unless you want leg burn!). The fit is amazing, the dark colors make them versatile (more colors, please!) and they dry quickly. Thanks, Moosejaw, for the supersonic delivery! You're the bomb!
