The Patagonia Women's Los Lobos Jacket is a long, lean jacket made of high-pile polyester fleece into a lightweight 16 oz winter must-have with princess seaming for a slim, feminine, contoured fit. Contrast trim provides a pop of color and style, while the stand-up collar and classic Patagonia hand-warmer pockets provide cozy warmth. Also a perk, you will look a bit like a teddy-bear if you wear the Los Lobos fleece. Seriously, did you see how furry this thing is? Everyone is going to want to cuddle up with you, especially the creepy kid that sits behind you in lecture hall. Maybe take your jacket off before you sit down, just in case.

"If it looks like a bear and feels like a bear, it must be a...?"
Quite puffy but oh so cozy. I was surprised to find that the lining is that thin, slippery material sort of like a sleeping bag. But I don't mind it. It is not as contoured to my body as some of my other Patagonia items, so it may appear boxy on some women. If you have curves you're good to go. Pockets are deep enough that my cell phone and keys don't fall out. The polyester pile doesn't shed. Collar is high enough without being uncomfortable. Zipper doesn't pinch my chin. I received a lot of compliments when I wore it to a party on Super Bowl Sunday. I'll be getting my use out of this sweater jacket. My stats: 5'5, 115lbs. Ordered a size small.
Really bummed about this jacket. The lining peeks out from the sleeves, making it feel really awkward and appear like a really poor sewing job. It also makes that annoying swishing sound when you move around, because of the lining (think of wearing wind pants). The cut in the back makes it fit tightly. The cut (in my opinion) was not flattering or comfortable. The body of this jacket was too tight for comfort, but the shoulders are too big. I never have sizing issues. The fleece was very soft, so that was cool. Love Patagonia products, but this was a major fail in my book. I think the worse part is the $7.00 I have to pay to return this. Majorly bummed!
I love this jacket! I had been admiring it for weeks in a local outdoor store. Finally, I grew some and bought my very first piece of Patagonia. Some people complain about the lining but to me, that is what makes it. The lining traps heat in like an oven! Yes, it does come out a little at the sleeves but its takes no effort to just push it back in. Also, if you are between S/M or M/L get the larger size.
We've been buying Patagonia for a really long time, like almost forever! In fact, I still have a fleece pullover that survived both of my kids when they were about 3 :) They are now 21 and 17!!! I'm saving it just in case they have babies of their own :) This jacket is a huge disappointment. It's really soft which I like but it has this weird satin-like lining. I'm sure it makes the fleece warmer but it doesn't stay put. When you put your arms through the sleeves the lining comes with it and sticks out from the fleece. I've worn the jacket only a couple times and the lining shows around the bottom. I can't recommend and I must return, sorry moose jaw!
This is my new favorite jacket. The inside is silky and the outside is cuddly. The magenta is a beautiful bright jewel tone without being gaudy. Sort of a rose on steroids color. The only down side is that it is Patagonia--which means I had to go up one size and while it is still slim fitting, the sleeves are too long.
Putting this on will make you warm instantly. It has a sleek, slim fit design like most of Patagonia's products for women. I've found that the arms are cut a bit long, while the torso is cut a bit short. I absolutely love this jacket, but my only complaint is that the pockets don't have zippers. It would make the jacket much more practical if it had them.
