Great casual fall and winter dress. It's got a flattering cut and great fit. I will say that compared to other Patagonia products, I found this a bit bigger than most.
I'm a leaner, musclely girl (5'4", 130lbs) who has trouble making my climber arms look feminine. This dress is very pretty, and seems to mask my arms and emphasis my girlier features. It hits around my knees, and 'the girls' are a little exploited without any backup, which works fine outside the office. It has not worn as well as other Patagonia items though. I expect Patagonia to last the long haul, and after 2 washes, the color of the cotton was looking fairly tired. It's still beautiful, but it's not the knock-out dress it once was.
I usually love patagonia--but this dress didn't do it for me. I am 5'7' , 130 lbs with broad shoulders so the fit was just off. The cut is deep in the front and the band around the middle just made the dress bunch up funny. For the right body type this is probably a nice dress

I love the fit, feel and color of this dress! I was so excited to get it and wear it on a date night with my husband.....but alas, it was just too short for me. I'm not opposed to a shorter style on me--but it didn't look right with this dress. I LOVE the fit and style of the top of the dress. The feel of the material and the way it laid was lovely-comfortable and flattering. But I have to return it. I'm 5'8" so maybe it's just my height....I think on a 5'5" or so girl, this would be perfect. Someone else--run out and buy it! It is a great dress!!!
Fits very nicely and is quite flattering on an athletic build. The length is perfect for work or going out and I love the deep color. I only wish it came in long sleeve.
I had the Margot dress from the 2009 season and the arms were a bit tight. This year I found the cut much better. I have it in black, size S - I am 5'4", 112 lbs, and a 36D. A camisole is a must for me (unless I want to be really sexy :-)) but less endowed women could get by without. This is a cute, cute dress with either tights and boots or flats/ballet slippers. Dress it up or down, office or out on the town. Awesome dress for the price.
This dress is absolutely perfect! It fits well in all the right spots and is super flattering. The fabric is nice and extremely comfortable. I'm 5'4" and this dress hits me right at my knees, which is a great length for me. This is definitely my new favorite dress!
This is the perfect dress to wear anywhere. I've worn it to a family Thanksgiving, to a local concert, and just for kicks. It goes great with cowboy boots or a pair of chacos. The stretchy cotton provides a great fit and is uber comfortable!
Prior to this purchase, there were only a privileged few who had seen me donning a dress. It's just not something I do often. This particular garment, however, has changed that statistic and now the people of the world can witness my feminine garb. It's comfy ... the merit by which I judge all clothing.

Okay, so I'm 5'2 and pretty busty. This dress said v-neck but oh crap by boobs look enormous. Its not a big deal i suppose, but this dress may turn into a date dress rather than the dress I through on after fishing or rafting. Its uber comfortable and still sexy as all get out. I think this dress is everything i wanted even though I didn't kow i wanted it.
