The Patagonia Women's KnifeRidge Jacket is a winter shell jacket for climbing and skiing the high mountains. Working hard in the mountains requires waterproof protection as well as breathability and most of all ease of movement. Patagonia brings you a hardshell that is light and stretchy, just the thing you need for getting your groove on when you reach the top. It's waterproof to keep the snow out and super breathable to keep you comfortable, but do note that if you're looking a drenching downpour in the face, this isn't the jacket for the task. A helmet-compatible hood adjusts with a single pull tab at the back so you can view all angles properly and an elastic tab on the inside attaches to Patagonia snow pants to prevent the jacket from riding up at an inopportune moment. The handwarmer pockets have been lifted high to stay out of the way of your harness and a single chest pocket lays close to your heart for small item access. Slice and dice your way up and down the mountain.
Products on Sale are Discontinued Styles or Colors.

Women's Fit Guide Details & Info
Patagonia's measurements refer to body size and NOT garment dimensions. Sorry for yelling about it.
Each Patagonia product is designed and shaped specifically for its intended use, and below are their generalized four fit descriptions, and details about each fit. The Patagonia fit for each style can be found in the product description features or specifications.
FORMFITTING • Conforms to the body's contours.
SLIM FIT • Closer-fitting. Slim-fitting technical garments may be worn over baselayers and light midlayers.
REGULAR FIT • Neither slim nor oversized. Regular-fitting technical garments may be worn over heavier midlayers. Men's regular fit pants have a slimmer fit through that thigh, lower leg, and cuff.
RELAXED FIT • Drapes loosely on the body. Men's relaxed fit pants have a bit of extra room through the hip, thigh, lower, and cuff.
CLASSIC BOY FIT • Boxy, athletic, with a traditional crew neck.
ANIKA FIT • Formfitting and longer in the torso, with a wider, deeper neck (not quite scoop).

Great JacketI wore this out lift skiing for the first time yesterday.
I normally wear a small, but ordered a medium because I wanted to be able to layer. It was great. Loved the stretchiness of the jacket and it isn't as noisy as other jackets.
I stayed dry and warm with the layers underneath.
I am worried about the lack of pit zips. I plan on using this for backcountry skiing and hope I don't get too hot.

Great fit and love the color.Got to try it out for some late spring skiing. Easy to move around in, good length. It did a good job blocking the wind and the hood fit well over my helmet. I did wish that I had worn another layer underneath because I was a little cold if I wasn't moving.

Perfect Soft ShellThis is a perfect soft shell - very flexible, not bulky, tailored fit. I use it for skiing and it pairs well with a thin down jacket underneath.
