"Great jacket for the beach" 08/17/11
I wear this jacket 7 days a week when I do my 6 mile power walk at the beach. I have it in a couple of colors. It blocks the wind is is great over my Patagonia El cap Jacket or my R1 ifI need extra warmth. It folds up into a mini pouch if i have to carry it.I keep a spare on in black in the car for beach wind emergencies.
"Worth the price!" 01/09/11
I love this jacket! I was super nervous about spending so much $$$ on such a thin piece of material, did a ton of research before purchasing and have been very pleased! I have worn it on the river while coaching rowing, running in the fall, hiking in the UP, on windy spring days, and cool nights in Mexico. It's a great all purpose jacket that I like to have on me at all times (very convenient stuff sack component). At first I was a little concerned when I pulled it out of the stuff sack and it was all wrinkled...I mean, I don't want to look like a total rag muffin...but it smoothed out as soon as I put it on.
