"Perfect Jacket!" 02/05/12
I just got this jacket and it is my favorite ever! My dad got one in november and he hadn't taken it off until he got a cheep down jacket to wear to work so he wouldn't get his patagucci jacket dirty (so about 3 months later). I have yet to take it on a climbing trip but the packability, lightness, and warmth I'm sure it will be my perfect belay jacket!

It's pretty much perfect. It's comfortable, much warmer than I expect, but without ever being too warm. It's amazing how I can wear it alone walking to school on a -10 day and be still be comfortable in it all through class. I highly recommend it, though don't get it wet, it's kind of a bummer.

My boyfriend has the men's version and boasted about how comfortable it was. I tried his on once and HAD to get my own. It is super light and easy to squeeze into a pack with a ton of climbing gear. It is perfect for fall and early winter bouldering. I love climbing in this jacket as it allows you to move freely & keeps you toasty warm without making you feel like you're the michelin man. Great for layering when the weather gets too cold.

I give this jacket a great review. I tried on a variety of women's sizes and settled with one that mostly fit. A couple weeks later, I ended up returning it, because I never wore it out, because the women's shape is just a little odd. My torso is a little long, but I'm really not that tall (5'7), so I thought this would work out. I love love love the warmth, easy packing, and hood on this jacket. If it fits, take it home!

The Patagonia down jacket is by far the best jacket that I have bought. It is extremely light weight and highly compressible. You hardly feel like you are wearing a low temp jacket. It is ultra light and highly compressable, getting it down to about 5 inches by 4 inches!This jacket stuffs down into its own inner pocket, which makes it very easy to bring along with you backpacking or car camping. It rarely looses a feather, and is quite stylish. I have had it now for a few weeks and wear it regularly. Well worth the price and my favorite down jacket thus far.As for moosejaw, my gear came quick and hassle free!!Go Moosejaw - WHOOT WHOOT!!!!
"Very warm, lightweight, stylish" 03/16/11
I debated several down jackets before finally choosing this one, and I'm very satisfied. I have worn it this winter in Seattle, Denver, and Phoenix [damp cold and dry cold], and was always warm in it. It's fantastic for both street-style and for outdoor activities, but beware that the soft shell exterior does not hold up to rough treatment. I recently wore it on a climbing trip, and snagged it several times during the approach through some brush [dumb move on my part]; now there are a couple spots with feathers poking thru. Otherwise, amazing jacket!

I was looking for a jacket that is extremely warm but without the bulk, this fits both criteria's. I take my lab daily on long walks and its fantastic for that, its also very stylish and is great for use on a daily basis, beautifully soft and curves to your body. I would highly recommend it, im usually a size 4, but went for the medium so i can put layers underneath it, it's the perfect size. Lee in Iowa!

I purchased one last year for a trip to the Smokies and stayed so warm and didn't notice the weight or the space in my pack. The down is ideal for staying warm and the pocket that the jacket goes into, makes this a non-worry in you pack. My girlfriend gets her's for Christmas and I know she will wear it all the time. Now I can have mine back for a change.

I had reserverations to begin with as this jacket seemed so thin and couldn't believe it would hold up in such cold temperatures in Iowa! I was indeed very wrong, it is fantastic, i walk my lab numerous times a day and it is incrediby warm and so soft and comfortable. It's also a great jacket to layer too if needed. The hood is not at all bulky, in fact it sits so neat behind your head you don't even know its there. Very comfortable to drive in with no bulk. The best investment i made this winter, by far!

This is a really awesome jacket. This is warm enough to withstand a Maine January, and then be thin enough to wear comfortably in the car, belted in, driving along... love the fact that down accommodates warmth and coldness. It doesn't bind you up when you're driving, and looks stylish as you wave to your fans. Really a fantastic coat! Thanks Patagonia for a fantastic item!

I love this jacket because it isn't bulky. It is comfortable for driving, climbing, even going to the grocery store. It is thin but warm because is has a high down content - not just feathers... SO comfortable. I would buy it again and again...

I LOVE this coat! I bought the down sweater hoody because I was looking for something light and less bulky than my other down. I read many of the reviews and feared that this would be too wide across the middle (I'm 5 foot 5, 135 pounds on a good day) I've found that this has a nicely shaped fit - comfortable, but not baggy, shaped, not fitted. Another thing I appreciate about this jacket is the fact that the sleeves are long enough - FINALLY!! This coat is great for anything technical, or simply driving around, seatbelted, and not constricted. Fantastic Patagonia, and Moosejaw, you're always the best!!
