The Women's Capilene 4 Zip-Neck Shirt by Patagonia is great for when winter turns snarly. Our zip-neck is designed to make regulating your internal climate easy when you're on the move. Streamlined "barely there" seams cause no chafe while providing a tailored, trim fit. An angled, low-profile zippered chest pocket holds lip balm or MP3 player and can be easily accessed beneath bibs, waders or pack straps. The extra tail length keeps the heat in and the elements out. Made of 50% recycled (and 100% recyclable) polyester from our Common Threads Recycling Program, with a Gladiodor natural odor control finish. Imported.

"really warm" 09/12/11
this is the best for lots of layering. wore it in montana in june when you wake up and it's mid-30s and gets up to the mid-80s during the day. and might start randomly snowing during the day. i used it as a base layer under a fleece and rain jacket.
"Perfect for a double layer under my ski jacket" 11/10/10
I got this Cap 4 top to wear under my ski jacket on extra cold days. They're the perfect weight for a base layer. On really cold days I've actually put a Cap 2 under it and been nice and cozy. I always used to freeze when I'd go skiing and finally decided to invest in some decent long underwear and I'm glad I did. It made a huge difference in my comfort while on the slopes. I'm a 5'7" and a size 2 and I ordered an extra small because I wanted them to fit tight. I was worried the it might not fit in the shoulders and the sleeves could be a tad too short, but it wasn't a problem at all. In fact, it still fits great even when I have my Cap 2 under it.

My favorite Capilene top by far. The longer length and fitted silhouette keep it stylish and functional. I love wearing it for both apple picking and jogging. My only complaint is that it pills a little, but otherwise, I wish I owned 6 more.

Looks great, feels great, performs great! It's very soft and is perfect for camping and hiking. Wear a Cap 2 V-Neck under this for trekking, then add the Micropuff Vest for cooler days. Casual and clean.
