"Perfect basic top."  03/23/12

I wear this almost everyday for work (trail restoration in the Mojave Desert) and it's perfect for keeping you warm when you've got another layer over and cool when you're wearing it alone. It's a great basic shirt to have in your pack and I'd highly recommend investing in one.

"Keeps mother warm"  01/22/12

It keeps my mother warm on cold days. She is happy, I am happy. Would highly recommend this. It also looks great.

"Very comfortable and warm"  01/18/12

I just took this for a run and I stayed warm and dry. Typically after a run I'm soaking wet, not so with this shirt. I can't wait to take it skiing. I'm 5'4" and about 125lbs and ordered an XS. Fits perfectly in the body, the arms are a little tight in the bicep area... just makes me look ripped or something.

"Great layer!"  01/13/12

I have one of these already and had to get another (awesome, sale price, Moosejaw!) It's become my new favorite next-to-skin layer for skiing. It fits well (I'm 5'11 and 150 lbs) and the medium is perfect for me. I wish it was a TAD longer in the body (but I wish that for most things), but I can still tuck it in to my long underwear bottoms. Sleeves are a good length for me! It's very breathable - keeps me warm but vents well when I'm hiking. Also - having any allergy to wool, so I love this material which seems to work just as well as other wool-ish layers.

"Great shirt but a little long"  12/24/11

This is a great base layer. The only complaint that I have is that it is a little long. I'm thinking about having is hemmed if that is any indication. Normally I wouldn't bother hemming a shirt but since I think I'll have this for a while, I think it is worth it.

"Good Shirt for Running"  11/04/11

I use this shirt as a layer for cold running days. I wish it was a little snugger (I'm 5 foot 7 at 120 lbs) but it's really comfortable, light, and the blue color is great. It's also pretty hard to stink up! Great for weekend camping trips.

"Great base layer for colder climates"  09/08/11

The Patagonia Capilene 3 collection is the best base layer I have seen. I spent the summer working outdoors and backpacking and this was my go-to layer for nighttime and during the day once it started getting cooler. It wicks moisture and insulates well. Also, holds up to wear and tear and washing really well. I have it in both purple and brown and will probably buy it again when those wear out. I'd recommend the Capilene 3 base layers to anyone above all other products I've tried.

"Good !"  06/30/11

Love this ! It runs really big, so order down a size. I am always a Medium up top, but I ended up with the small and it fits perfectly. So cozy and warm

"Love this baselayer!"  05/23/11

This baselayer is great for all your backpacking needs. I sleep in it in the backcounty and it keeps my plenty warm. I have also used it at football games in the winter and it works great there too. It fits a little snug, so I suggest not buying a size down or anything. You probably don't need to buy a size up, just buy the size that would normally fit you. It works so amazing!

"best midweight layer ever"  03/09/11

have 2 of these, black and an orangey color. im 5 foot 1 36c and a medium fits perfectly. it keeps me warm without overheating me while hiking, going to the gym, and walking the dog. i am able to layer with it as well. the fit is formfitting without being overly tight (hugs curves in all the right places..bf loves it). wicks well too and always comfortable.

"My favorite baselayer!"  01/07/11

I wear my baselayers both for work and play, and these Capilene shirts are perfect for my needs. I'm cold natured, and wear them at work in 60-64 degree temps (sedentary activity) and am very comfortable. For colder temps I layer them with a fleece, which slides on very easily over the finish. Capilene products last through many washings without looking worn. The only thing I have noticed is that while I generally wear a medium in most tops due to wide shoulders for my size (about a 6, 34B) but I need to size down to a small in these tops. Highly recommend these (as well as the other capilene baselayers!)
