The Patagonia Better Sweater truly is better :) Very well made, with quality materials. Fits true to size. I love the versatility of this piece. It is great for layering or alone.

I have worn this several times since purchasing it before Christmas and get more compliments everytime I wear it. People are amazed by how soft it really is and want to know where to get it. I typically wear a medium but have broad sholders and wanted to be sure that the sleeves were long enough and ordered the large. It is still fitted but big enough to layer comfortably. The grey is a good neutral that goes with everything but I am hoping to add more colors in the future.

This has been one of the Patagonia items on my list for a long time. After finally purchasing it I am so glad that I did. It is soft both on the inside and out and warmer then I originally expected. I was a little concerned about the "slim fit" and wanted to use it as more of a jacket so I ordered a size up and it fits perfect. I am 5'8'' and usually wear a medium but the large gives me just enough room to wear long sleeves underneath it without being too bulky. I certainly want it in additional colors beyond the basic black. Only complaint is that there are no side pockets. Great buy and will certainly get lots of use!

Order up if at all in doubt. I am 5'1", 115 lbs, 34 c/d chest small was way too snug across chest, medium is great with a bit of room. This is so comfy I love it so much I have the pink, gray and heather and just rotate. Worth every cent because I wear them all the time and feel stylish while being casual. Washes & dries like a dream!!!

I ordered mine in the lime color, and it looks great! You can see the ribbed texture in the fabric and its soft on the inside. It's a little on the stiff side, and the sleeves don't roll/push up very easily like I usually do. It's warm enough for a brisk day with just a tee underneath, and its pretty form-fitting. I'm 5'1, 120lbs, and the small fit pretty well. The arm pocket is kinda awkward, I dont really know what you're supposed to fit in there. But I just ordered another one in black, and I can't wait for it to get here!

After seeing my brother's Better Sweater jacket, I had to get one because it looks so good and is so comfortable! I'm 5'3'' and 102 lbs. and ended up getting a medium (I'm usually a small or x-small) because I don't like my jackets fitting really tight and the medium is perfect! The arms are a little long, but that really doesn't bother me. I would at least order up one size if you plan on wearing anything that isn't form-fitting underneath. If you're debating on whether or not to get this... definitely do!!! I don't think I'll ever take it off! Oh and I got the natural/feather grey and it's such a great color! I like how you can see the ribbed texture of the jacket.

I got this jacket for Christmas from my boyfriend from this place here in Mississippi and I had to take it back to get a medium and no one had it!! I was so mad so I got my money back and began searching the internet for it. I couldn't find anything that really stood out until I came to Moosejaw where I found the exact same color my boyfriend had originally bought for me and it had FREE SHIPPING!! It was a done deal! "Worth it!" 12/17/11
This is the second one I ordered. This is a great light weight layer that still keeps you really warm. Very easy to pull on and off (sometines the neck hole is not big enough, but this is good). The material holds up nicely even after washing. My first is a year old and still looks great. The green color is awesome with the darker trim. Love it!
"Comfort of Fleece in a Dressed Up Package!" 09/11/11
I would wear fleece all winter, but it just doesn't look good enough for work. But this is perfect with a pair of chinos. Super soft on the inside and looks great on the outside. Word of caution - order a size up if you want lots of room to move. I normally wear a medium that fits kind of loose. This one in M fits a little more snug than I like.
