"Not characteristic of Patagonia quality." 01/16/12
I've purchased several pairs of these gloves over the years, back when they were called bunting gloves in the early 90's and these gloves are far from what they once were. The fingers are cut shorter than they were. They now only come up to the middle knuckle which makes for more area to get cold, and the placement of the end of finger causes a bind that seems to cut off circulation when fingers are bent. Plus, the finger holes are much smaller than they shoudl be. I DO NOT have large fingers and these feel tight on me adding to the circulation issues. the lack of palm and cuff articulation create balls of fabric or let air flow in through the cuff.
"Poor quality for the Patagonia name." 11/10/10
Was expecting a much better product from the Patagonia name brand. I always purchased Patagonia products for their quality and attention to detail but this one falls far short of those expectations. My 2 biggest complaints are the palms arent articulated so they bunch up like you are holding on to a ball of leather and the finish on the seams aren't smooth so they tend to rub your fingers raw. I eventually turned the gloves inside out and cut away the inside seams to make them more wearable but still find them very uncomfortable and annoying to wear. Not worthy of the price or the Patagonia name.
