"Great gloves for winters in Georgia!" 08/29/11
I received these gloves as a present last Christmas and have worn them on several occasions. They are perfect for walking around campus on a cold day but they weren't so great when it snowed. They comfortable and not too thick though and that's more my style. Well-made and soft. Overall, I love them.
"cool but not cold weather gloves" 02/07/11
I have average sized hands with a ring size at about 9. I ordered the gloves in medium as I do with most gloves and they fit true to size. There's a little bit of give in the palm area, but it's fairly form fitting. It doesn't cut wind well, but it keeps your hands warm enough for cold weather driving and running errands around town. The fingertips aren't made to be used with touch screen phones and ipods and such, and there's no jacket clip. So it's a value glove for every day use.
"Good for cool weather, not so much for cold" 01/29/11
After years of experience with their Synchilla tops, I had high hopes for these gloves. They're decent. They're good for cool jacket weather, but pick another pair for cold coat weather (and hope the wind isn't blowing too strongly when you're wearing them). On the plus-side, they fit well and the padded fingertips and palms are great while driving. They're just not as warm as I'd hoped they'd be.
"Good Gloves" 11/11/10
If your not planning on putting these inside a shell, then they will be good for around town etc. Pros: really light weight, Patagonia Product, Good cuff lengthCons: loose fit for meI think these gloves would be even better with a shell. So If you want a cold weather glove I think buying a shell for these would be a great idea.
