"Backpack and Chick Magnet" 02/29/12
I use this bag to go to class and I love it when someone asks me where I got it! It is the perfect size to carry books and snacks for class and then it transforms to a day pack for the weekend getaway. My favorite parts are the laptop pocket that is also a water bladder pocket and the soft fabric lined upper pocket for sunglasses and my phone. This bag does everything. Girls come up and talk to me, and then I realize they just want a closer look at my bag. Then I take them camping.
"perfect for school and travel!" 01/02/12
I used to carry a North Face backpack at school until the straps started breaking and the fabric was ripping and the bottom almost fell out...then I upgraded to THIS! The padded straps make heavy textbooks feel like nothing and there's plenty of pockets for everything. When I'm not lugging it around at school I use it for day hikes and travel and it puts up with everything! Nice, durable and a great look.
"This pack is a campus champ" 08/20/11
I use this pack around campus - it's big enough for my laptop, books, and whatever else I need, but it never loses it's structure or gets lumpy, even when packed to the brim, so it stays comfortable. Strangely, the vertical zipper in the middle of the pack is my favorite part - it's great for things that I tend to take out and re-pack frequently (ie, computer cord). The outside side pockets are deep enough that my water-bottle never falls out, even when I'm biking and generally throwing the thing around.
"Great school bag/day pack" 06/14/11
This is what I currently use as my bookbag. it is a very comfortable pack. designed well. the organization in the bag is also a plus, set up well. The compression straps are helpful when the pack isnt totally full. keeping the light load close to your back. The laptop sleeve provides adequate protection for your computer (which is a must for me, since I have a very expensive macbook pro). all n all, great bag for school or work.
"love it - use this pack daily" 03/29/11
I love this pack - I use it every day. I am a mom (sorry, wish it was for a "cooler" purpose) and I can fit my water bottle on one side, sippy cup on the other side, wallet and kindle in the front pocket, diapers and wipes in the second, and everything else I have to have in the main pouch, and there are still other pockets! The top pocket is great for phone, keys, gum, etc. There are pockets within pockets everywhere. Color choices are great. Quality and material is great - I have used it for months and months and it still looks brand new. I can't imagine this pack not being a perfect fit for just about any use.
"SPACIOUS!" 03/21/11
Great for all occasions!!! It is so spacious, and the elevated laptop sleeve is really helpful when I forget I have my computer in my pack and slam it on the table. I love the color combinations, as welll as the waterproof fabric! I have been in many downpours and none of the contents have gotten wet. The only downside - I'm 5'1''..... and the pack is longer on my back, so it doesn't sit where it should, even after i've adjusted the straps. I only notice this when there isn't weight in the pack.. when there are books in it, it is comfy and sits just fine! :)
"BEST BACKPACK EVER" 02/02/11
I love this backpack! I got the NorthFace "Jester" pack three years ago, and the bottom started ripping so I started searching for a new one. I was originally planning to go with the NorthFace brand again, but I've heard good things about Patagonia and loved the bright colors (green + turquoise = awesome) so I decided to give it a try. SO glad I did! The pack itself is a great size, and has all of these nifty pockets, including one for a laptop, which comes in handy for those using it for school. Also, the straps are super comfortable and take a lot of weight off my shoulders. Bottom line, this backpack and brand is super ballin' and you should definitely buy.
"Nice small pack" 01/30/11
Having spent a couple of years with my North Face Recon as the go-to day pack for toting my daily things (lap top, books, odds and ends) I decided that i needed something a little smaller. Recon was fairly heavy empty and encouraged to carry more things than i actually needed. I went with Refugio because I WANTED A SMALL PACK that was still large enough for my lap top. This is perfect - light, small, fits what i need but makes me think twice about leaving crap inside. No waist strap is a minus but understandable for the small pack.
"Simply Amazing." 11/17/10
Way cool, way practical, way awesome. it's deceptively big...it holds a ton and doesn't look like you're carrying a small bolder on your back (meaning you can turn in a crowd without taking out the guy next to you by forgetting you backside extends an extra 1.5 feet). Love Moosejaw - love the maddness.
"This backpack is perfect for just about everything!" 10/31/10
I bought this pack this year because I needed a bag that could hold all of my school things and stay put while riding my bike through the city. It's perfect. The chest strap keeps my back feeling great even when I've got 20 pounds worth of textbook weighing me down! The front pocket with the vertical zipper is great for keeping spare gloves and snacks. The dual bottle holders on the side are super handy as well. I love having a built in laptop case and all of the organization pockets in the medium sized pocket. Overall, I think that this backpack is great for all of my day-to-day needs and can hold everything I need while still looking great.
"Fantastic Quality!!! As expected" 10/15/10
Great colors, I got the Greenlake and it looks mega awesome. Basically this bag is perfect, its not too big or to small, its got the chest strap and airflow stuff thats super cool, and sweet pockets. Its definitely patagonia quality and you will not be disappointed.
