The Men's Retro-X Jacket by Patagonia's breathable/windproof P.E.F. (performance-enhancing film or Primary Elephant Fuel as I like to think of it) barrier sits comfortably between layers of thickly piled, ecofriendly PCR Synchilla fleece and a Capilene brushed-mesh lining. This men’s fleece jacket offers a windflap behind full-front zip closure, zippered side and chest pockets. The Retro-X Jacket is ideal for lift-accessed riding, fly fishing, base camp warm up, around town, or outdoor work. This Patagonia fleece jacket has Y-joint sleeves making this a front-runner in the world of men’s fleece jackets. Yes, I would like that.

"The best overall deal I've ever gotten on any jacket hands down." 01/20/12
This is by far the best jacket I currently own and I have North Face, Mountain Hardware, Columbia, and a few others from Patagonia. You can't possibly go wrong with this jacket. It's about as comfortable as they come both inside and out. The key features make it unique and overall a great buy.
"Big Warm Teddy Bear" 01/16/12
That's what my wife calls me when I wear this jacket. It takes a while to get used to complete strangers coming up to you and rubbing their faces in the plushness of the jacket. But the awesomeness of the jacket repels all cold and wind so it is worth the awkwardness.
"Great Jacket!!" 01/09/12
THis is a great overall Jacket. As an avid skiier, hiker, climber, basketball player, and just an outdoorsmen I never stop wearing this jacket in the winter. It keeps you so warm yet it is breathable and comfotable to sweat in. I don't even wear a ski jacket or a shell anymore I just wear this jacket because it is that great of a jacket. Plus, Patagonia is just a great product that will last forever. My friend's dad has bout 5 Patagonias that are twenty years old. No lie buy this product!
"Great Product!!" 01/09/12
As a skiier, mountain climber, hiker, and just an outdoorsman I am always wearing this fleece. It is warm and extremely comfortable. The liner even allows you to be comfortable to sweat, which for me is huge because I'm always sweating. Instead or wearing a ski jacket or a shell I just wear this fleece because it is honestly that warm plus Patagonia is just a great manufacturer that always makes a reliable product that lasts a lifetime (my friends dad has jackets of theirs that are over twenty years old)... I wouldn't lie to ya... Get this jacket!!
"Not as good as previous models" 01/09/12
The material and workmanship are up to Patagonia's usual high standards. The issue is that Patagonia decided to get rid of the hem cord. The jacket fits like a sack. As an undergarment it would be fine but seriously why have it windproof if you are never going to use it as outwear? Wind WILL whistle up it (unless you just happen to have the perfect body type I guess). I ended up returning the worn twice to Patagonia who gave me a credit....I then went on EBAY and bought an old one that someone in the south never used and it is now my favorite jacket. WAKE UP PATAGONIA!!
"This jacket is the BOMB!!" 12/28/11
Got this jacket for my son for Christmas. He described what he was wanting not knowing the name of the jacket. I was able to get on Moosejaw, look at the available products and find this...and it's exactly what he wanted! He put it on and hugged me like he was 5 again! (he's 20)The fit is great, he's a big guy...6'2 and 230. We're just waiting for the cold weather to hit so he can wear it outside instead of inside with the air conditioner set at 55!Thanks Moosejaw for an awesome product and service!
"Really warm and fuzzy, be prepared for people to want to feel the sleeves..." 08/02/11
Its really warm, like really warm. It feels like I killed a bear and am wearing his skin and now I have an urge to trap things. Super great jacket though. I'm a awkwardly tall 6'5" and about 195 and the large is plenty roomy for me; if I had to nitpick I would say I wish it was a bit more fitted but nitpicking is for people who hate nits and I really don't have any problem with them.
"Favorite Jacket" 07/07/11
I got a grey medium. I should of gone with large (6'2 180). The arm length is good, just a little too short at the bottom. However, this is by far my favorite jacket and my favorite patagonia item. Kept me warm in -20 degree weather when I was hiking all day. Amazing how good of a job it does to keep you cool. I wish there was some full body suit of just this material!
