The Patagonia Men’s Untracked Pant is an insulated ski/snowboard pant for riding through untouched powder. The super durable Gore-Tex 3 Layer fabric is waterproof/breathable and windproof to keep you dry and deter the elements. A durable water repellent finish helps any melted snow bead up and roll off so you can trudge through the deeper snow. Articulated knees provide a natural bend and more freedom of movement so you can continue your hike upwards. As you start to heat up, vents at the thigh can be opened up, don’t worry, they’re mesh lined so snow won’t get in. You’ll also find snow gaiters that grip around your boot to prevent snow entry. A total of five pockets provide ample space, two at the hips to warm your hands, two at the thighs for your map and a snack, and one on the butt, just in case.

Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. It's cute to think of a fabric as being afraid of water. Now if only they could make a bearphobic coating. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.
If you haven't heard of GORE-TEX by now, you've probably been living under a rock. And that would make sense, because living under a rock is probably the only place where you wouldn't need the durable waterproof and windproof protection that GORE-TEX fabrics offer. So when you're ready to venture out from under your rock, arm yourself with the comfortable protection of GORE-TEX.

Men's Fit Guide Details & Info
Patagonia's measurements refer to body size and NOT garment dimensions. Sorry for yelling about it.

FORMFITTING • Conforms to the body's contours.
SLIM FIT • Closer-fitting. Slim-fitting technical garments may be worn over baselayers and light midlayers.
REGULAR FIT • Neither slim nor oversized. Regular-fitting technical garments may be worn over heavier midlayers. Men's regular fit pants have a slimmer fit through that thigh, lower leg, and cuff.
RELAXED FIT • Drapes loosely on the body. Men's relaxed fit pants have a bit of extra room through the hip, thigh, lower, and cuff.

Bomber Shell PantsHad been scoping these pants (the whole kit really) since I first heard about it last year. This pant lives up to the hype. The fit is on the loose side but not ghetto baggy style. I use this pant for everything from the resort to the Backcountry and it does a great job. On super cold resort days, remember it is just a shell so it gets a bit cold. But for everything else, it is the pant of choice. I spend 100+ days on snow and this is a true 'live in' pant. You put them on and they work all day and look good when the day is over and you have to impress the chic that makes your coffee for the ride home, or the girl next to you at the bar. Really another excellent pant from Patagonia and with their excellent warranty, buy these and wear them for life.
