"Deceptively warm jacket!"  12/30/11

After retiring my fleece that Ive worn one... hundreds of too many times in Seattle winters it was time for an upgrade. The Ultralight Jacket is super duper light while being one of the warmer jackets Ive owned. Easily as warm or warmer than my North Face Denali Fleece when the air is chilly. When it rains in Seattle its much easier to brush water drops off the jacket than being pseudo absorbed into my aging fleece. Easily light/thin enough to wear under a hard shell when the weather gets foul, while wearing an equivalent fleece can get bulky.

"It's a nice fit"  12/05/11

I'm 5'7 160 and got myself a Medium size. Nice fit, not bulky. I can still wear a sweatshirt inside. I also plan on wearing gore-tex jacket over this for harsh winter. Waist & arm length is just right. Not tight on the neck area. I ordered on Fri, got it on Monday :-) ...Fedex expected this to arrive on Tuesday.

"Comfortable, Light, Warm and EASY to store..."  11/10/11

Love my new Men's Ultralight Down Jacket, it is very comfortable, light and warm. Comes with a stuff sack that is very easy to stuff. Great fit, true to size, if you are swimming in a normal Patagonia XL than the XL "Slim fit" will be the ticket. Super light 800 fill down and the new special edition nylon ripstop with Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) finish is a great combo. My new favorite garment!!!

"Pretty good jacket but the down sweater jacket accomplishes the same thing."  10/22/11

Good jacket but very niche, it's essentially the regular $200 down sweater jacket but lighter and slimmer and a little less warm—obviously from the lesser amount of down/loft. As a result of lower loft/less fill it's insanely easy to pack as it rolls into the size of a mission burrito—one other thing that most Patagonia jackets lack is cuff adjustment—I wish this jacket came with cuff elastic with adjustment pulls, then it'd be perfect.
