Each Patagonia product is designed and shaped specifically for its intended use, and below are their generalized four fit descriptions, and details about each fit. The Patagonia fit for each style can be found in the product description features or specifications.

• Conforms to the body's contours.

• Closer-fitting. Slim-fitting technical garments may be worn over baselayers and light midlayers.

• Neither slim nor oversized. Regular-fitting technical garments may be worn over heavier midlayers. Men's regular fit pants have a slimmer fit through that thigh, lower leg, and cuff.

• Drapes loosely on the body. Men's relaxed fit pants have a bit of extra room through the hip, thigh, lower, and cuff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Truly Lightweight Warmth I recommend the hoodie. With the hood up, and all the pockets zipped this jacket is good for hours outside. I have spent 1 hour in 7F weather, with just a T-Shirt on underneath, and was warm and brooding on needing another layer to help with sweat. ,,,,It is comfortable enough that I have slept in it several times, when my sleep bag wasn't enough. ,,,,I am hoping to get it out this February and see how it handle sub-zero temps. I will be sure to bring my R2 fleece along as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect for layering at the crag or under your hardshell for snowboarding/skiing. I bought this with fast and light in mind. I love it for layering under my jacket for backcountry snowboarding adventures. the cut is true to fit as well. My climbing helmet fits a little tight underneath and has a nicer fit over top to keep from rocks damaging the hood should they fall. The size it packs down to is great. Its roughly the size of a Nalgene bottle and weighs absolutely nothing. Patagonia nailed it with this one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far this is a good buy, warm and longer in the back which my son likes. The fabric is very thin and I worry it may tear. I have the women's jacket that is a few years older and the fabric is much more durable. This weight is good to layer and nice for Fall and Spring weather, not sure how warm it will be in January.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Traceable Down! Very warm and SO light Patagonia and North Face are the only 2 companies that have traceable down. As cruelty-free as possible for down. So if u hafta have down, be ethical and stick with these 2. Google down and see. This jacket is Very light - like wearing nothing and perfect degree warmth. Have size XL for 6'3" 220#.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pricey but well worth the cost A very pack-able light weight but warm jacket. Fits closely and with a shell over it can handle most cold. Ideal for activity as it moves easily. The hood has a nice cinch for those breezier days. In addition, when the jacket is stuffed inside its own pocket it makes a great camp pillow!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Ultralight Very lightweight, warm, functional and stylish. Hood coverage is great and drawstring pull provides ample peripheral vision. I am very happy to have made this purchase. If you looking for a garment to combat the harshest cold spells of mid-winter, consider a jacket with larger baffles.
